• I've figured out who you probably are, even though I'm not one of the "in" kids. You've heard the expression, "Never argue with a fool; onlookers may not be able to tell the difference." When you are a known contributor it helps people keep things straight. A known contributor can wade into a mudslingfest and not get blocked as quickly as the unknown editor. But on reflection it has become clear to me that you must have made considerable contributions to Wikipedia in the past, and it is only right that that is taken into consideration.
