High Line (New York City)

Unfortunately, under US copyright law, there is no Freedom of Panorama for sculptures created after 1978, as there is for architecture. The sculptures are deemed to be copyrighted, and images of them cannot be published without permission of the copyright holder. I have therefore nominated your image for deletion at Commons and removed it from the article. However, it is still possible to use it, but you'll have to upload it here instead of at Commons. En.Wikipedia has a form of Fair Use called WP:NFCC - you'll have to upload it with an explanation of why you're using it, etc. See the NFCC page for more details.

However, the artwork you chosen to represent the art on the High Line is, in my view, a particularly hideous piece of post-modern art. It looks like an antennae, or the superstructure for a billboard. I would ask you, please to choose a different piece of art. There's no reason that the bad taste of the people at the High Line has to be inflicted on our readers, and surely there must be a piece of artwork there that is interesting and accessible.
