Wikipedia seems to be the standard for knowledge. For the article to fail to emphasize that specialized training and practical experience can be enough to become an engineer is a disservice. Bachelors degrees are very expensive and half of the degree is general education so this tends to discourage any youth looking to get into the occupation. I come from a poor neighborhood and anytime I encourage people to become an engineer the incorrect mindset of needing a bachelors degree discourages them. Therefore, it ought to be emphasized there are other educational paths to become an engineer.
