Let me know what NOT to put in the article all i want to do is add myself so my bio can be found this is a little confusing i am not trying to advertise please me do this the correct way

On Wikipedia, it's highly discouraged to create an article about yourself. If you feel compelled to, though, you need to be sure to cite multiple reliable independent sources for verifiability and to prove your notability. Please see WP:CITE, WP:SOURCES, WP:V and WP:N for details. Leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 17:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
If you really are a famous musician, you don't need to create an article about yourself. One of your many fans will create one about you based on the biographical information about you in music magazines. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:16, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}}

Please delete my account and profile. I have expressed the need to NOT promote more than once i was trying to get into the information database. Please delete my account/profile username is IceTheDon please email when done.

Due to the fact that Wikipedia content is licensed under the GFDL, all edits must be kept for attribution purposes, and so your account cannot be deleted. You do, however, have the right to vanish, which you can exercise by (1) requesting your user page (found at Special:Mypage) and/or user talk page (found at Special:Mytalk) be deleted, by adding the {{db-userreq}} template to them; (2) requesting to change your username to something that is unconnected with you (possibly a random collection of letters and numbers); (3) never logging in to your account again. If you do this, you are still free to register a new username if you wish to continue editing Wikipedia.--Fuhghettaboutit 15:04, 15 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

In response to your helpme tag

edit

I'm sorry that you didn't understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a promotional site. I'm sorry that you created an article to promote yourself, thinking that was what Wikipedia was for, and saw it immediately deleted.

But.

When you got the first message explaining that the article was not appropriate for us, when you ignored several warnings, when you refused to offer any evidence that you meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, when you refused to learn more about this unfamiliar site you were trying to be part of, then you were in the wrong.

And when you responded to the people who were trying to help you with a personal attack, then you were very wrong indeed. If you are only interested in promoting yourself, then Wikipedia has nothing to offer you, and you should just try MySpace, which is exactly what you're looking for. If you're interested in helping us write an encyclopedia, you're welcome. But if you make another personal attack, you will no longer have the choice, because I will block you from making any further edits.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them. Politely. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:52, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

By the way, Cosmo lied to its readers. We're not very happy with them. Feel free to write them an angry letter. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:57, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
