Argentina national under-15 football team moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Argentina national under-15 football team. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 13:53, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- No problem, I will only edit with words after searching more and more about them. I still don't know how to add links so I won't be doing that part. IbrahimDawod (talk) 14:43, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
January 2024
editHello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Everton F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:57, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- I don't understand the source that needs to be added to "And Leicester City were relegated instead" IbrahimDawod (talk) 15:18, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Anthony Gordon (footballer), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:02, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Thiago Nuss, you may be blocked from editing. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:15, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Nuss was loaned out to Córdoba! I don't see what I did wrong! IbrahimDawod (talk) 13:32, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- You didn't provide a source to support this claim. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:03, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Nuss being loaned to Córdoba is a known fact to all Nuss and Córdoba fans (not that I am one) and is official. Who the hell are you anyways! You're making my experience in Wikipedia like hell.. Just F Off man and stop editing after whatever I edit, it's as if your my parent IbrahimDawod (talk) 15:12, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- If you're not willing to follow the proper practices of this place, and have an attitude which apparently leads you to feel compelled to tell others to "F Off" when having things explained to you, then I don't think Wikipedia is the place for you. Do you? Mattythewhite (talk) 15:59, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- The only reason I started editing on Wikipedia is because I thought it's a cool way to waste my time since I am bored.. what I read is that if I edit and make a mistake other editors can fix my error, not Revert it. If you don't believe the information I add to player appearances to the point you keep reverting because "there is no source". How about this, you give me 5 Player Wikipedia Articles I can edit and I will follow their every move to make sure I add the correct things, but in returns just leave me Alone. Infobox timestamps
editHello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.
You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update=
or |ntupdate=
parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 17:05, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I noticed you Reverted most of my work, for example:- you reverted what I edited for Yazeed Abu Layla. On Wikipedia his name is Layla. But on his shirt in-game, he himself chose Yazeed. This is a minor edit I am sure you don't even know who he is except what Wikipedia says, and I don't think you know what his name is in Arabic. I revised everything I have edited for the past week or so, you changed everything or most of what I edited. IbrahimDawod (talk) 19:27, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- I have made some changes to the article you refer to, including spelling his name as per the FIFA reference which was already included, and updated his stats in accordance with the National Football Teams reference which was also already present.
- If you are having trouble with how to update the timestamps please let me know, as I see you've been typing the dates manually in all caps. All you need to do is write five tildes (~~~~~) in the relevant parameter. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:47, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- When I updated the Appearances and goals (most recently Yazeed Abulaila) the date added was in the same order, so I added 20 JAN 2024. IbrahimDawod (talk) 05:43, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I would love to know how you change the Subject Name in a Wikipedia Page, for instance: you were able to change Yazeed Abulailaname in the title, but I couldn't figure that one out.
- Would love to hear from you,
- IbrahimDawod IbrahimDawod (talk) 08:55, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- I see you're still not quite getting the timestamps right: if you type five tildes (~~~~~), the exact time and date the update was made will be generated.
- On my device, a page can be moved by going to More (near the top of the page, to the left of the search bear), then Move. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:20, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- its ok, I could learn, could you give me an example with today's time and date? Also instead of reverting just edit it to the correct form IbrahimDawod (talk) 13:30, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- An example is this update I made at Ivan Toney. I typed five tildes in the club-update parameter, and as you can see the time generated matches the time I made the edit. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:03, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
