@TheMan5487946: Yes, and the last image will also get deleted. You have uploaded it as its own license which is completely wrong. You don't own the picture rights. False claim of the license is not permitted in Wikipedia. Iamrajdeepdas (talk) 05:26, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Indian eSports organization: S8UL edit

I have created the page S8UL Esports but the page is up for deletion cause they don't consider AFK Gaming as a reliable source. Can you please come to the deletion for discussion page of S8UL Esports and help me there. Please provide valid points there. Aaditya.abh (talk) 06:39, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Aaditya.abh: First, Wikipedia is not a directory/social media to submit anything like a Crunchbase/Facebook(example). It's an online encyclopedia that is free to the world.
Second, AFK Gaming is a good and independent source in my point of view. But not so much reliable like Sportskeeda, TalkEsport etc.
Third, you had already done some kind of work that is not permitted on Wikipedia, i.e - removing the AfD message before the discussion ends [1]
Fourth, I'm also a fan of S8UL in the official matches by Krafton but I acknowledge that it fails WP:GNG. But popularity has nothing to do with notability.

So, my vote for delete is 90% and weak keep 10%. Reason: No secondary reliable sources are found in News. All existing sources are closely connected with the subject. - Iamrajdeepdas (talk) 09:05, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yeah that's the problem if AFK Gaming or Sportskeeda have been considered reliable, there wouldn't be any problem. And yeah about the afd message, I deleted it by mistake. Aaditya.abh (talk) 10:02, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I totally get it. I am just bummed by the fact it was the first created by me and and I'm going to loose it due to lack of my information.

Anyways thanks you. Aaditya.abh (talk) 12:49, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Posting on Rahil1610's talkpage for the moment. As ToBeFree already indicated your multiple warning on the talkpage are not helpful (to put it politely). Any further posts there will lead to (at least) a page block. Abecedare (talk) 15:27, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

User:Abecedare Apologized and noted, Will not repeat this from the next time. Also, I issued only 1 warning to the recipient as his/her edits are unhelpful/disrupting the syntax of existing articles+not having proper edit summaries. Iamrajdeepdas (talk) 15:58, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Abecedare. Iamrajdeepdas, I normally wouldn't reply here because the matter is already settled with Abecedare's revert, Abecedare's message here, and your apology here. I don't want to annoy you by pushing this again and again.
I'd like to correct the statement "I issued only 1 warning", though. I tried to explain why this is incorrect before. At the moment we're at three warnings you had issued to Rahil1610.
The misunderstanding seems to be based on an artificial, incorrect interpretation of the word "warning". You used the term "level 1" multiple times, probably referring to the levels of Wikipedia's warning templates (1, 2, 3, 4, 4im). These are entirely optional.
There is no requirement to use warning templates. Whenever you tell a user to stop doing something that violates policies or guidelines, you're warning them. Abecedare's message above (15:27, 28 May 2023) is a good example: What level would you assign to that warning? 1? 2? 3? 4? It's a warning, but it lacks any formal "level". The closest template we have is {{uw-harass3}}. It's obvious why Abecedare hasn't just thrown this template onto your talk page, but it serves the same purpose, so I guess it's a level 3 harassment warning. I find the attempt of categorizing it this way absurd and hope you do too.
Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 16:23, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
