Speedy deletion nomination of Kisho Kurakawa

I would be keen to understand why this article is open for deletion. It provides a coherent and full list of some of the most interesting modern architectural buildings in Tokyo. I intend to add pictures and fuller addresses when I have them. The work that is in this article took many weeks to compile as there is no easily accessible list of modern architectural buildings in Tokyo online or in print.

The documentary was NOT a commercial concern - it never made any money and I think this article is very much in the spirit of learning that Wikipedia should be about. Iainoverton (talk) 17:47, 9 August 2009 (UTC) Iain Overton

Hi there. The reason I listed this article for deletion is because, as far as I could tell, the information was unverifiable and did not meet notability guidelines for inclusion. Please have a look at those links - the first one is official policy. I could find nothing in google to verify your information, and you provided no other sources. Information needs to be attributed to reliable sources. The main reason I couldn't find anything on your film seems to be because you listed the article as "Mr Smith Goes to Tokyo" rather than "Mr Smith Takes A Short Trip To Tokyo", which didn't help things. After having looked for it under this title, I'm still not sure that the film meets notability guidelines for inclusion in Wikipedia. If you know of any non-trivial coverage of the film in reliable sources, please mention them at the deletion discussion.

I'd also recommend that you read Wikipedia:Autobiography. Wikipedia editors are seriously discouraged from writing articles about themselves or things that they are directly involved in. I certainly don't mean to discourage you from editing here. Maybe, given your interest in Japanese architecture, you could focus on those kind of articles.
