Thanks for uploading Image:Vincentcard.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Krzysztof Prętkiewicz

It was deleted as a result of an expired prod. (See Wikipedia:Proposed deletion for how it works). It was proposed that it be deleted for "d bio of living person, unencyclopedic tone, dubious notability" and no one challenged the proposal for 5 days. --soum ^talk 13:06, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Top Trumps Feedback

Your feedback superb ILHI - which is exactly why I would like to work with you, as I think together we could make it a superb section - I didn't want an edit war at all, that is not my intention, only to make the piece as good as it can be - although I'm under the understanding that Wikipedia should be a collective piece, and not just owned by one person?, or that one person should have the say-so as to what goes or not? - agree ?

Let me know how best to procede, as I would really value your feedback - maybe you could try an edit of my page first, rather than the other way around ?

Regarding this image - are you genuinely the "copyright holder" of the image, or were you unsure how to label a photograph of a commercial product? --McGeddon (talk) 18:13, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

I am not. At the time of uploading I had no idea what I was doing. It is a smaller, lesser quality version of the image seen there; on the official designer's site. I'm not all the educated on "Fair use" but would that qualify? ILHI (talk) 19:42, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

If you read this A couple of members have been asking if the TT Wiki we worked on is still running or if you have totally given up on it? If it is still running, could you give me the link so I can continue on it?

Image Copyright problem

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:12, 3 April 2020 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
