Deletion notice 'Mr. Couch' edit

A tag has been placed on Mr. couch, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Neil916 (Talk) 07:49, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

AFD on Mr. Couch edit

Hi Malcolm! Looks like you need to do a lot of work on Mr. Couch. May I suggest if you can come up with better claims to fame (See: WP:NOTE) you need to present them quickly on this page. In advance of that, I suggest you copy your whole stub article (It's not encyclopediac in style, tone, or presentation either, so just a stub, or beginning) into your user space here say. Just edit the article, copy it, click on your talk, click the redlink, then paste it in.
User pages, including user sub-pages like that are essentially inviolate, unless they are in violation of some other wikipolicies. (See WP:NOT). In any event, looking at the timing and the voting, if you want to save a copy for an eventual retry, copy it into a sub-page like that and you can work on bringing it up to standards for another go. You wouldn't be the first to edit here because of a fan interest. If I can assist in other ways, I'm on the WP:Wc and will be happy to help. I've already added a template with some links to get you started above. Best wishes, // FrankB 01:31, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
