I've seen sonic grow in the US since the comics. I've played every game that has the word "Sonic" in it, or sonic related released from SEGA (example: Knuckles Chaotix, March 1995). Now, I'm dissapointed to what Sonic of today has become, but still remain faithful to the true blue hedgehog. In the comics, they put a number of super forms. They were all "spoofs", but Super and Hyper Sonic was accepted and mentioned in a number of comics. I wish they'd implement the old to the new. Nintendo survived by that idea, and still are. Sega needs to do something before they are a thing of the past. I support all who backs Sonic. Keep it up.--SuperEmerald (talk) 21:00, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I'm a Sonic fan, and an enthusiatic one at that! I have a Sonic idea: I think Sonic Team should have (during StH 2006) had Silver use the Time Stones (from Sonic CD) to travel to the past. What do you think? By the way, I think you are FRICKIN' AWESOME! Keep up the good work. BlackEDGE MkII 04:11, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, BlackEDGE, and thanks for your posting! First of all, I definately believe that Silver could have access to the Time Stones. How else could he warp through time and through other dimensions? You also got me to thinking....since Blaze and Silver are a "team" now, Silver could use the Time Stones and Blaze could use the Sol Emeralds. Maybe Silver has a Super Form! After all, Blaze does.

Also, thanks for your encouraging comment! I started my page yesterday, on the 8th, and it's really cool to have somebody posting on my disscussion already!

Oh, and one more thing. I noticed that we both have two things in common: both of us are Sonic enthusists, and both of us were born in the same year! Hopefully, we can keep this friendly discussion rolling! (And by the way - I noticed that you made your user page (much bigger and colorful than mine) today (the 9th). I can imagine it took hours to make. Are you homeschooled or were you just having a vacation from public school?(since today is a regular school day)--Hyper Sonic 22:13, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm not not homeschooled nor am I having vacation from school. About Silver having a super form, see the discussion boards here on Chaos Emeralds. And Sonic Team/Sega was too dumb to think of awesome homages to the 2-D era of Sonic. If you've been to Gamespot, then on forums one user has been putting up scripts of StH 2006 from Sonic Cult on his forum. Silver doesn't use the Time Stones, nor do they show up in the game. That's all I'm gonna say cuz I don't want the game to be spoiled for you. Also, for my userpage, all I did was use userboxes. If you want to know how to use userboxes, then come to my userpage. One more thing, I might be setting up a new user account here at Wikipedia. If I do, I'll probably stop using my BlackEDGE profile. When I get around to that, I'll tell you, all right? BlackEDGE MkII 00:32, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you want your Hyper Sonic pic to show then you're gonna haveta highlight the info you put in for the pic and click on internal link. BlackEDGE MkII 01:47, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice. The Hyper Sonic pic came up, and it was simpler than I thought it would be. I went to the Wikipedia Help pages and it was hard for me to grasp what they were trying to convey. Now I know how to do it.

I don't have an XBOX 360 and I won't be getting a Playstation 3 in a while, so I won't be able to play StH (2006). Will you be getting a copy of the game when it releases?--Hyper Sonic 19:05, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, my fellow Sonic fan, the earliest I will be getting StH 2006 (and a PS3) will be Christmas. BlackEDGE MkII 02:45, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

You're lucky! That's one expensive present. I'm not sure if you've heard about this, but Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) for the PS3 will be delayed from its original scheduled release: November 17th (a PS3 launch title). Looks like it's not going to be a PS3 launch title after all. I've been hearing that it could come November 24th, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it will probably come out before Christmas. And the XBOX 360 version is still the 14th I think.--Hyper Sonic 00:48, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I've also heard that Next-Gen Sonic was gonna be delayed. Anyway, I said the earliest I'll be getting a PS3 and Sonic is Christmas. One word determines whether or not I'll be getting them for Christmas: PARENTS. BlackEDGE MkII 01:42, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Friends List

edit

Yo Hyper Sonic, guess what? I just put you on my friends list! BlackEDGE MkII 02:59, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thanks! I just checked out your user page and I really like what you're doing with it. Keep it up!

Sorry for the lack of responses. I've been trying to respond to you and revise my user page the past two days, but I didn't make that much progress in doing both.

Don't forget that Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis comes out today! Or so to speak. I phoned Gamestop and they said they won't be getting it until Wednesday. It's only one day, but still. I guess I can say that with the release of this game, and Sonic Next-Gen, that the Sonic game boom has begun. After all, in the upcoming days Sonic Rivals, Sonic Next-Gen (PS3), and Sonic the Hedgehog (Virtual Console) will be released. Also, the two mentioned before and Sonic and the Secret Rings which will be released on March 6 next year(can't wait for that one!). All in all, we have a lot in store for us.

But, despite all these new games, I'm still looking forward to Nintendo's Wii. I went to Toys R' Us on Sunday and they had three preorders left. Luckily, I was able to nab one right when I got there. I was really worried if I would get a Wii on the 19th (which is when it gets released), but now I'm relieved. Just 5 more days!!!

(One more thing. Thanks for the tip about posting pictures. It's helped a lot!)--Hyper Sonic 13:59, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

No prob about the pictures. And you're lucky to get a Wii. If I can't get a PS3 for Christmas (due to my parents), then I'll get a Wii. And you're right: SONIC MANIA HAS BEGUN! I'm gonna try to get Next-Gen, Secret Rings, and Genesis. I'll only get Rivals if there is a port of it to the DS (if you've seen my userpage you'd know that I don't have a PSP and I prefer the DS over the PSP). I'll try to get both a Wii and PS3 sometime in the next couple of years. Are you gonna do the same? Also, I too haven't been able to play as Hyper Sonic in StH3&K due to a) I don't have a Genesis at my house, but I have a friend who has both the game and console, b) on the save file he reserved for me I just got all the chaos emeralds, and c) I haven't been over his house in a while. (Tough luck, huh?) By the way, I'm setting up another account here at Wiki. I'll let you know when the time comes. Adios (for now) mi amigo de Sonic! BlackEDGE MkII 21:51, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have a DS, too. Wonder why? Well, Sonic Riders was the game that lured me into the Sonic series. After that, I heard of Sonic Rush and I had to get it. So I received a DS for my birthday along with Sonic Rush. I even bought the Sonic Rush skin that you could wrap the DS in! For six months that's the only DS game I had until recently when I purchased Advance Wars: Dual Strike (Gamestop rated this and Mario Kart DS as the two best DS games so far; if you find it, I strongly encourage you to pick it up!). As for the PSP, it's cool, but I'll probably wait until it goes down to around $150.

Will I get a PS3 in a few years? That all depends. Next summer I'll have a job washing garbage trucks which pays $7.00 an hour. So we're talking about 75 hours of scrubing (not including Sonic Next-Gen). And Sonic Next-Gen is the only game I want for the PS3. Is it really worth buying the PS3 just to play one game? If Sonic Team makes a sequel to Sonic Riders, and it's a PS3 exclusive, then I'll be more anxious to get one.

Hey, I also need to know two things from you: Do you have a Nintendo Gamecube? If so, do you have Sonic Mega Collection?

(And about your account, that's fine with me. Just let me know when you change your account so we can still discuss Sonic-related things!)--Hyper Sonic 20:32, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nice, I see you're making progress with your quest for Hyper Sonic. Keep it up man! I'm rooting for you! The first Sonic game i owned was Sonic Advance for the GBA, but before then, I played Sonic, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2. Anyway, I don't have Advance Wars for the DS (I hear the series is good but I never got into the games.) I don't want a PSP cause for the price, there just aren't enough good games to justify the buy. Yeah, if Next Gen Sonic is all you're gonna buy for the PS3, don't get a PS3. (It wouldn't be worth it.) I, on the other hand, want a PS3 cause I want Sonic 06, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, FFXIII, Tekken 6, Assasin's Creed..........the list goes on, but you get the point, right? And, yes I have a Gamecube, but not Sonic Mega Collection. I'll try to get it if I see it. But the question is, do you have Sonic Gems Collection? (it has Sonic CD, which among the other games on the disc, actually justifies the purchase. And Sonic CD is a good game.) BlackEDGE MkII 21:58, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yep, Hyper Sonic is making progress smoothly. I have four Super Emeralds now, so that means I'm more than half-way done!

It also looks like you have reason enough to get a Playstation 3. It's just a shame that most titles cost anywhere from $60 - $70.

Sonic Mega Collection: The only reason I wanted to know if you have it is that with a little hard work you can unlock it on the game selection screen. So, I'm not actually playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles on the Genesis; I'm playing it on the Gamecube with Sonic Mega Collection.

Sonic Gems Collection: I do indeed have this game! And you're right. Sonic CD is the true "gem" of the package. The music is spectacular!--Hyper Sonic 14:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

PS3, Wii, or Xbox 360?

edit

Personally, my choices would be this:
1. PS3
2. Wii
3. Xbox 360

However, I just heard that the PS3 after being released in Tokyo, was found to not be able to play PS1 and PS2 games. Sony lied? Oh God, I hope not! If this is true, I'll get a Wii instead. (There are some awesome games coming to the Wii as well.) I hope that this tidbit isn't true. It would be a waste of $500/$600 to buy a PS3, just to find that all I can do is play PS3 games and not classic PS1 and PS2 games. (Of course, I could always just download M.U.G.E.N, an awesome online fighting game, to the hard drive.) What is your opinion? BlackEDGE MkII 23:13, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, my #1 system of choice would most definately be the Wii. It's the least expensive. The games are the least expensive. It has cool periphials. It's intuitive, innovative, simple, and fun. If you're terribly upset about the lack of backwards compatibility on the PS3, and you're undecided about whether to get one or not, here's a few other drawbacks I should mention:

The rumble feature is left out of the controller. Now, for me, this is a big deal. It made me realize that this feature is literally the only physical connection that connects the player to the game.

Limited availability is a big problem, too. Even if you decide that you want a PS3 for Christmas, there's a chance that your parents won't be able to get one due to the limited stock supply.

And of course the price. But I won't get into that now. After all, it is "thousands of dollars of technology". (I heard that somewhere. You're actually getting a more expensive machine than meets the eye. But, human nature plays a role here. $600 is a lot of money.)

But you can get a Wii, a few good games, a controller, and a Wii Points card for the price of a PS3. That's a good bargain. And Nintendo is releasing 100,000 Wiis every week after Nov. 19th, so there's a high chance that you could get one sooner than the PS3.

In my opinion, the loss of backwards compatibility on the PS3 was a bad decision by Sony. Sorry for the negative comment, but this, along with the problems listed above, could lead to the end of Sony's dominance of the video game market. And I'm not a big fan of Microsoft at all. I view the XBOX 360 as a cheaper alternative to the PS3 (but with the exception of less superior graphics).

Bottom line: go with the Wii.--Hyper Sonic 14:58, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually, my choice between the PS3 and Wii was much harder than you think; the PS3 just barely won my pick. Anyway, if push comes to shove, then I'll end up with the Wii. What made my choice hard was that there are killer games coming to both systems. But, I'm gonna try to pick up both a PS3 and Wii down the road. By the way, way to go! I just saw that you got all the Super Emeralds! Now you really are Hyper Sonic! Good job! BlackEDGE MkII 22:02, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Hyper Sonic is now complete! I'll probably focus on getting Super Tails and Super Knuckles now. I might not be able to chat in the next few days. I'll be playing the Wii! I'll let you know what I think of it when I respond next time. Wii launch: tommorow!--Hyper Sonic 18:08, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Post-Wii Comments

edit

Alright. Sorry for the delay. But man do I have a lot to tell you!

To start off, a bought Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis. The game's okay. As far as I know, the levels are exactly the same as the Genesis version, but, as you've probably heard, there's the tremendous problem of SLOWDOWN. All...throughout...the...game...it's...entirely...slow. To put it like this, imagine that the whole game is underwater. Or, that Sonic is wearing the heavy, grey boots from the Sonic 3 Time Attack zones. In my opinion, get another Sonic Game Boy Advance game. You can get Sonic Advance 3 for the same price, and I'm sure that it's better than this.

Other than StHG, I also purchsed another GBA game: Gunstar Super Heroes. I walked into the FYE electronics store, and I saw it on rack for $9.99. It was a hard decision, because I could get something "Wii" instead, but I remembered that I've seen it online before and it got spectacular reviews. There's only six levels, but you can play as two characters: Red or Blue (basic isn't it?). What really stands out about this game though its outstanding visuals. Oh, and the gameplay is like Metal Slug meets Mega Man. It's that good!

Wii. Nintendo Wii. It's like this. I don't know how much fun you can have on another console, but the Wii delivers fun like you've never imagined. To tell you the truth, I could chat about this for several paragraphs, but I won't. Since the Wii is coined as "simple", I'll make this "simple". One last regard: I would have much rather spent days in the rain waiting for this than waiting for any other game system. (But, thankfully, I had a preorder, and I thank the Lord for that.)

(ONE MORE THING! Don't forget to check out Sonic News from the Sonic Stadium. They have an article on a new soundtrack based on one of our favorite games! I hope that you respond. My apologies again for the long delay.--Hyper Sonic 20:22, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

No prob, mi amigo. So.....DO YOU LIKE PLAYIN' WITH YOUR WII?! Sorry, I couldn't resist. I love the Wii! Yeah, I know what you mean. When I get one, I know that the experience will be mind-blowin'!!!

About StH Genesis, OUCH with a capital O! I'm probably just gonna buy Sonic Mega Collection instead. And you're lucky to have Gunstar Super Heroes! I've been lookin for it for about two years!!! BlackEDGE MkII 23:13, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, get Sonic Mega Collection. There's about 7 games in it, and, if you work hard, you can unlock Sonic 3 & Knux, Ristar, and a whole bunch of others! Recently, I've seen it at Target for $14. If you can't find it where you live, try eBay. More often than not, you can get it there for less than the store price.

I have to go to my cousins' today, and Thanksgiving is tomorrow, so don't expect me to respond until Friday. But if you have anything else you want to discuss, you can post whenever you want. Thanks!

(Also, try to take a peak at January's Nintendo Power, which is out now. It has a 3-page Sonic article, an advertisement for StHG, and a review for it as well!)--Hyper Sonic 16:11, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)...

edit

Is actually starting to get some good reviews. Finally some people are starting to stop whining about techincal negatives in the game, stop hating Shadow, giving Silver a chance, and stop whining about the camera when there's a FRICKIN' AUTO CENTER !!! How good do you think the game is, and if you had a PS3 or Xbox 360, would you buy this? (I would, but that's only because I really like Sonic games. Unfortunately, my passion for Sonic led me to buying Shadow. DON'T BUY SHADOW ! It sucks !) BlackEDGE MkII 01:56, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Never mind, it looks like the work of vandals has deceived me. But, I still think this is a good game. BlackEDGE MkII 16:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, if you do want my opinion on Sonic (2006), I think it looks great. The graphics look amazing, the music seems well written, and it might be the fastest Sonic game to date. Now, I know most Sonic fans only want to play as Sonic in the games, but I'm actually the opposite. I thought it was cool to see a new playable character (Silver) and a fully 3D rendered Blaze.

If I were to buy this...I'm not completely certain. After all, it is $60.00. But it's also the first original Sonic game for next-gen systems. On another note, I'm surprised that you've been seeing some good reviews. Everywhere I've been going on the Internet all the ratings were mediocre. In fact, just a few minutes ago (before I saw your question) I just came from Gamespot and they gave the game a 4.4 / 10! I don't think they care for Sonic games anyway.

Ahhhh...Shadow. I remember paying $30 bucks for it a few months ago, only for it to go down 10 more dollars a few weeks later. Yeah, the game isn't that good. The only part I enjoyed about it was that you could meet most of the other characters throughout the game. I didn't even finish it. I'd much rather play Sonic Riders, Gems, or Mega Collection than that. And I thoroughly agree with you. I bought Shadow just to complete my Sonic Gamecube collection.

Are you planning on getting any other games?--Hyper Sonic 15:29, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Other than Next-Gen and Mega Collection, I plan to buy Secret Rings for the Wii (when I get one). By the way, whatever you do, don't go to Youtube, Gamespot, or any other website pertaining to Next-Gen. Those sites have completely spoiled the game for me. Yeah, but the game looks and plays AWESOME!!! And one more thing, Heroes is better than Shadow. BlackEDGE MkII 17:08, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thankfully, I didn't read the review at Gamespot; I just looked at the rating. Sonic Heroes is better than Shadow the Hedgehog, particularly, in my opinion, because of all of the playable charaters. The cutscenes are really gorgeous, as well.

Now's the time for me to chat since I'm on Thanksgiving break, so shoot me anything you want to talk about!--Hyper Sonic 19:32, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I just visited the Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis page. Boy, did they expand that, didn't they?--Hyper Sonic 19:40, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, they did expand the page. However, it shows all the faults on the game, which is why I'll spend $20 on Mega Collection instead of that junk. I also averaged the current 11 scores for Sonic 2006 and it comes out to a 53.3. Ouch. (By the way, this is my new profile.) Aguni Dragon-OX 23:20, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

What do I say? "Shoot me anything you want to talk about". But what happens? I'm too busy to even surf the net. I need to stop making promises. Sorry, AGAIN, for the two-day silence. *sigh*

Looks like you've been busy rounding up ratings for StH next-gen! You must really be anxious about getting it! But 53.3? Gaming sites shoudn't be so critical. Ouch, indeed. Secondly, could you tell me what your new username stands for? Just curious.--Hyper Sonic 00:01, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, no prob about the two-day silence. And yes, I am anxious to get StH Next! Yeah, many gamers whine about all the techinical problems in a game and just have fun. How do you think millions of people bought Shadow? (good times, good times) Anyway, my new name is weird. I'll break it down for you: 1. Aguni is the name of a boss in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS; also Agni (which is technically another version of Aguni) means "fire" in Japanese; also Aguni kinda sounds like the word "agony" 2. Dragon should be self-explanatory (Dragons ROCK!) 3. OX is the name of one of the Biometals in Mega Man ZX (yes, I am a Mega Man fanatic) Well, there you go. I'll talk to you later (hopefully, this upcoming week). Aguni Dragon-OX 02:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

..........

edit

Alright! Again, congrats on your new username! Sorry (again, again, again) for not responding, but, in all truth, I really don't have much to say. If you don't have much to talk about either, that's fine as well. But if you do have something (ANYTHING at all) let me know.

Also, thanks for putting up with me for three weeks. (WOW! Has it been that long?) I don't know what to call this new thread, I guess whatever you want to call it.--Hyper Sonic 17:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, there's no need to apologize. Anyway, I might get a Wii for Christmas! (SCORE!) What is on your Wii wishlist? Oh, and I changed my name, again. (this is the last time, I promise) DeathGodDragon EDGE 06:08, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Get a Wii for Christmas! You must! If you do we can talk to each other on the Opera Browser (which will be released around that time) and we can transfer Miis.

Oh my, where should I start with the list? Here it is in order of importance:

  • Wii Controller ($39.99)
  • Wii Classic Controller ($19.99)
  • Wii Travel Bag ($20.00 - $30.00)
  • Wii Controller Glove ($9.99)
  • Wii SD Card ($39.99)
  • Metal Slug Anthology ($39.99)

And next year:

  • Sonic and the Secret Rings (of course) ($49.99?)
  • Wii Play with Wii Controller ($49.99)
  • sigh* There's absolutely no way on the planet Earth I'll be able to get all of this stuff immediately. The Wii Controller is first priority. My cousins are sleeping over at my house in a week, so I'll need another controller!!! Here's what I have right now; drumroll please:
  • Wii Console and everything included in the box
  • Wii Points Card

Wow. Look at all the Wii things I have. Can you believe it. No, seriously, I'm grateful that I was able to get my Wii on launch day effortlessly, but I'm in dire need of accessories!--Hyper Sonic 17:59, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Now it's my turn to say I'm sorry. I haven't been on for a couple of days. Well anyway, my parents are the embodiment of pure evil. I got midterms on Fri and 2 of my grades dropped from A's to B's. So now my parents are pissin' about how my grades dropped (which, by the way, I CAN PULL UP!). Now, my mom is sayin' that I'll be lucky to get clothes for Christmas. DeathGodDragon EDGE 01:18, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

No problem. Sorry about your grades. Well actually, that's pretty good. B's aren't bad. Hey, even C's aren't that terrible. And if you really want a Wii, and your parents won't get it for you, you could always sell your Gamecube if you want, since the Wii is backwards compatible.

Moving on to something else, I'm considering getting a game on Ebay. It's called Game Boy Wars for the original Game Boy. It's also one of the predecessors to the Advance Wars series. The date is 1990, it's a Japanese import (it was only released in Japan), and it's $25 bucks (not including shipping). If you go on Ebay, type in "Game Boy Wars Jp", scroll down, and you'll see two of them. Phew! That's going to be a lot of money!--Hyper Sonic 15:16, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Christmas List!

edit

Sorry if it took me awhile to reply. So...what do you want for Christmas? This is my list:
Electronics:
1.A Digital camera and recorder (for Youtube purposes)
2.An iPod (if I don't get #1)
Consoles:
1. $600 PS3
2. Nintendo Wii (if I don't get #1)
Games:
it's a long list, but at the top are The Legeng of Zelda:TP, Sonic 06, God Hand, Okami, and Final Fantasy XII
DeathGodDragon EDGE 02:33, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, that's alright. We condole with each other. It's been a while with me, too. I don't care if you didn't write for a month; just try to write once in a while if you can. As far as my list goes, it's probably the Wii list I posted a while back. "A while", "a while", "a while"...that's all I've been saying! Anyway, I didn't really make any formal list or anything. (Oh great. Now I'm repeating "any". Will my repetition ever end?) As far as I've heard, my presents are going to be pretty spectacular. Only twelve days left!

And wow! That's one healthy list you've got there!

Oh! If you have a Gamestop or an EB Games near you, you might want to drop by. They're having really incredible deals! Too-good-to-be-true deals! For example, I bought Donkey Kong Jungle Beat with a set of DK Bongos included (you know, the DK games in the big box; this is for the Gamecube by the way) plus an extra set of bongos for $14.99! The cashier had a look of disbelief on his face when he found out! Just go to Gamestop.com and print out their advertisement, and then bring it in to the store. This is totally up to you. If you want to though, you better hurry. I think the sale ends on the 15th.--Hyper Sonic 16:43, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ugh. The "fair use image policy" has stricken me with benevolence. In other words, where did my pictures go!?! ...Ah, I see. So that's why nobody else posts pictues, but in their stead, they post userboxes. How come you still have pictures on your userpage? Now that my pictures are gone, my userpage just looks so.....so.....blah. Excuse my complaints, but as you can plainly see my feelings are...<sniff>...hurt. Heh, I'll talk to you later, bud.--Hyper Sonic 16:57, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, my images are gone too (minus the userbox ones). Hey no problem about not talkin' to me in awhile. By the way, I see that you're workin' on reviews for the games you own. Wow. Oh, have you heard on an online game called M.U.G.E.N.? It's FRICKIN' AWESOME! If the Wii and PS3 can download it due to their online capabilites, then forget games! I'll be too busy playing that to care. One more thing...my mom said I'll probably be able to get a Wii after Christmas, but the possiblitiy of a PS3 is still up in the air. See ya! 12 DAYS TO GO! WOOOOOO!!! DeathGodDragon EDGE 22:07, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I have been trying to work extensively on reviews for my games. More will be coming soon. I'm especially anxious to write my Gamecube reviews. As far as M.U.G.E.N. goes, I believe the first time I heard of it was on your own userpage. If it's that good, I'll take your word for it! Once again, it would be a truly sweet thing if you could get both the PS3 and the Wii. But even if you receive only one of em', it'll still be fine. If you get a PS3, you can tell me how unbelievable the graphics really are (not to mention the quality of Sonic 2006). If you get a Wii, you can tell me how much you enjoy the intuitive controller (and SatSR). Right now, I have to hurry because I'm going to go wash some garbage trucks and earn a little bit of money. I'm planning on using it to buy any of the following Gamecube titles (I'm neglecting my Wii list, I know):

  • Donkey Konga
  • Battalion Wars
  • Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
  • Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

I'll probably talk to you soon!--Hyper Sonic 20:28, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, have fun washing garabe trucks! About the 4 aforementioned games, Battalion Wars got mixed reviews, but the other 3 fared pretty well. I've gotta go as well (homework and stuff). 11 DAYS TO GO! YEAH!!!!! DeathGodDragon EDGE 21:18, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I guess I had fun...sort of. After all, it's pretty much the same thing for hours. And tonight I'm doing it again. I think you mentioned userboxes to me before. How do you put them on your userpage?--Hyper Sonic 21:36, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes

edit

Ok, here's how you add userboxes to your userpage: Each box has it's own code. For example, typing in {{User:UBX/Overuse}} would give you

 This user overuses userboxes.

You can also make your own userboxes, as several Wikipedians have made their own userboxes. In fact, the one above was made by a Wikipedian. You can also edit userboxes (I think). However, I have no clue how to do either. Go to Wikipedia:Userboxes and at the bottom on the page there are links to pages with userboxes on them. Hope this helped. DeathGodDragon EDGE 22:47, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well thanks for the advice. My userpage does look bland, but I'll probably leave it like it is for a while. I'll refer to this helpful information in the future.

Hey, I'm just going to throw something out right now: ever heard of Bionicle? I'm sure you have. I've been constructing some modified versions of Rahkshi in the past few days. Me and my cousins used to host turn-based battles a while back, and I'm hoping that I can revive those battles again. 6 more days!--Hyper Sonic 16:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, good luck with that. Hope you have fun. Well, someone needs my help, so I'm gonna check into it. 5 DAYS LEFT!!! ROCK ON!!! DeathGodDragon EDGE 23:07, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Pre-Christmas

edit

It's hard to believe there's only three days left, isn't it? This will probably be my last question to you before the 25th: how many DS games do you have and what are they? I'll keep your opinion in mind if I decide to pick them up.--Hyper Sonic 15:04, 22 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, Hyper Sonic; I just got back from Christmas shopping. Anyway, this is my list of DS games:
1. Mario Kart DS (excellent, if you're a fan, get it)
2. Star Fox Command (great, w/ lots of replayability, but it'll take awhile to get used to the controls)
3. Sonic Rush (nuff said)
4. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (challenging w/ awesome extras; really good)
5. Super Mario 64 DS (port of an awesome game, but with a few extras; nuthin spectacular if you own/played the original)
6. New Super Mario Bros (the best Mario game I've played in awhile; classic 2D platforming at its finest)
7. Meteos (addicting can't even describe this game; absurd amounts of unlockables and replayability; if you like Tetris Attack and the like buy this)
8. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (good RPG; funny as crap, but a lil bit linear)
9. Kirby: Canvas Curse (good, with a few flaws; unique controls take a lil bit of time to get used to; a few nifty unlockables)
10. Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2 (average; better than original; buy only if you're a fan)
11. Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble (average; cool uses of touch screen; can be difficult at times; no unlockables whatsoever)

By the way, my mom said I could get a Wii around February/March! SCORE! Oh, and I changed my name, again. 3 DAYS LEFT! HECK YEAH! ChromeWulf ZX 02:24, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good grief! Wow, you've got a spectacular list! And thanks for all of the discriptors as well! I just can't get over this. If I'm correct, all of these games have received at least an 8 out of 10. Just looking at your list says hardcore! Indeed, my friend, I am humbled, as you can surely tell. I just have one thing to say, just one recommendation: PLEASE try to find Advance Wars: Dual Strike. That game is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. And replay value galore! Since there is an in-game clock that tells how long someone plays it, I'm pleased to report that I've played almost 100 hours! But anyway, congratulations on your collection.

And speaking of congratulations, booyah for your Wii purchase next year! February would be ideal, so that in the following month you can get SatSR on launch day.

Chances are that I won't be able to talk to you again before Christmas, but I wish you the best of luck with your presents. Just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. Seeya afterwards!--Hyper Sonic 16:37, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Christmas!

edit

Guess what? I GOT MORE THAN CLOTHES FOR CHRISTMAS! BOOYAKA! Here what I got:
1. Clothes
2. More Clothes
3. Even More Clothes
4. Mario Hoops 3-on-3
5. Sonic Mega Collection
6. Final Fantasy XII
7. Okami
8. Phantasy Star Universe
9. WWE Smackdown Vs. RAW 2006

I also intend to buy Mega Man ZX, The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, God Hand, Kirby Squeak Squad, and some other things down the line. You can tell me what you got also, but the question is...What did you give? (This was a question brought up by the priest at my church.) Well, hope to talk to ya soon. Feel free to e-mail me at Yahoo (check my userpage). Ciao! ChromeWulf ZX 15:58, 25 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'm here! Wow, what a week! Congratulations on your presents! I'm seeing lots of games (not to mention, they've gotten good reviews), but the one that sticks out to me is SMC. Now you can finally unlock Sonic 3 & Knuckles! Alright, now here's my list of receivings!:

1: Nintendo Gamecube game: Odama (very unique and intuitive, and in addition, lots of Japanese language!)

2: two Audio Adrenaline CDs (two CDs from my favorite band!)

3: 1. KJV Scofield Bible (a very nice, expensive Bible; probably the most practical of the three)

4: Study Guide (a biblical guide written by a famous Christian author: Max Lucado)

5: booklight (self-explanatory, but another useful item that'll come in handy)

6: GBA game: The Bible Game (a game I've been wanting to get for a while; now I finally have it!)

Well, that's it...or is it? A little bit later on Christmas Day, I received another gift: a Yamaha YPT-300 electric keyboard! Oh, yeah! Now I can play Sonic tunes in style!

On another note, I also bought two DS games, Bomberman and Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll, and a Gamecube memory card (1019 blocks).

And we come to the question of what did I give. To tell you the truth, I pretty much just gave a helping hand in picking out presents for other family members. But I did, in fact, buy my brother some "toy money" and my sister some interlocking Toy Story foam puzzle pieces. Not much, but I think they enjoyed them for 15 minutes.

Hopefully soon, we can switch from "Hyper Talk" to email. I'm looking forward to it. My email address is: milesprower08@yahoo.com

Hey, have fun with your new "toys", and I'll talk to you later.--Hyper Sonic 17:52, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
