May 2023 edit

  Hello, I'm 1AmNobody24. I noticed that you recently removed content from Kaftan without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Thank you very much for your message, indeed, it is an error that I wanted to correct Humanmade1987 (talk) 10:06, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Could you tell me why you are deleting the modification of the part concerning the Moroccan kaftan? I added references, there is a lot of missing information, and the last paragraph already written by someone else is completely false. Humanmade1987 (talk) 11:08, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Read the edit summarys of the edits after yours. Nobody (talk) 11:15, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I saw that, but everything is referenced, so I don't understand why the modification was deleted.
Can you please tell me exactly where the problem is, which line and which paragraph? Even the photo I added is referenced here: ‎⁨This 10th century Moroccan wedding costume, laden with gold braiding and embroidery in the Rabbat style, easily earns its name, keswa el kebira, or "great dress."⁩ | ⁨J. The Jewish News of Northern California⁩ | 23 August 1985 | Newspapers | The National Library of Israel (nli.org.il)
Thank you for your wonderful work every day. Humanmade1987 (talk) 11:29, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
The 'kaftan' to 'caftan' changes were undone because they were unnecessary. The wikilinks were undone because they go against MOS:OVERLINK. The other additions were undone because they were either unsourced/sources were not reliable or that WP:UNDUE was a possible problem. The picture was reverted because of possible copyright violation and a MOS:IMAGELOC problem. Nobody (talk) 12:25, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

July 2023 edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kaftan. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 09:40, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
