Welcome...

Hello, HultIBS, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV), and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole.

Here are some other pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

I see that you already have found the sandbox and used it to get familiar with Wikipedia editing -- thanks for doing that!
Some of your contributions appear to be intended as advertising for the Hult business school. Please note that Wikipedia is not a platform for advertising or promotion; as stated above, articles must be written from a neutral point of view and they must be verifiable. I have already reverted some of your additions that are advertising or express a nonneutral point of view; I intend to make additional changes when I have more time to devote to the matter.
Furthermore, it appears from your name that you have a relationship with Hult, and thus a conflict of interest. Note that Wikipedia policy frowns on edits by persons who have a conflict of interest with a topic.
Also, please note that article text should not contain external links -- links to other topics within the text of the article should be links to other Wikipedia articles. Sources should be cited, however; WP:Citing sources should help you format references properly.

Replies to your questions

edit

Hi. These are quick replies to two questions you asked on my talk page. (I have not had time to take a look at the article again.)

You asked: Also can you please advise why it still says at the top of the page that citations are needed even though I have rectified citations from the previous page.

Answer: That's a cleanup template that will need to be removed manually after someone unrelated to Hult reviews the article.

You asked: Additionally, can you please advise why it is not possible to write "top-ranked" international business school even though a) I have cited the rankings and b) other pages i.e. London Business School has written "leading international business school"?

Answer: An article lead section should present a short summary of the key elements of the article topic. The first sentence, in particular, should be objective -- and things like rankings are inherently subjective. As a general rule, when trying to figure out what's acceptable in Wikipedia, it's best to look at Wikipedia policies and guidelines and not other articles (see WP:OTHERSTUFF for a discussion related to this -- but not specifically on this topic). If London Business School's lead sentence calls it a "leading international business school", then it seems to me that the London School article needs to be fixed -- not emulated. On the other hand, Harvard University does not contain any superlative adjectives in the lead sentence. --Orlady (talk) 17:32, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
