Hi, Htonl. Hope you are well. Can you please help me with something? I have recently edited Alan Winde's article and I was wondering, do you maybe have a picture of Alan Winde that can be uploaded to the article and Wikimedia Commons? I am aware that you have a apolitical job at the Democratic Alliance, but can you please help me out? Thanks!

I've asked the marketing department if they have a photo that the DA owns and can release under a CC license. Will let you know. - htonl (talk) 18:30, 6 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Lefcentreright: Yes, sorry, here it is: File:Alan Winde.jpg. - htonl (talk) 16:12, 10 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, man! The photo looks awesome! I appreciate it very much! Could you maybe ask the marketing department to update the Democratic Alliance Flickr account and upload new photos? Kind regards, Lefcentreright (talk) 19:24, 10 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
It's a pleasure. I'll ask them about the Flickr account - but I think they're uploading photos on Instagram these days. - htonl (talk) 19:27, 10 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Shape file for licensing districts in SA

Hi Htonl

I'm looking for a shapefile of licensing districts in South Africa and am hoping you could help me. I see you uploaded a map of licensing districts in the Western Cape, do you have this in shape file format for the whole of SA? Or perhaps point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance, Marlies — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.164.32.75 (talk) 10:14, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Htonl. How are you? Can you please help me again with the supplying of a media file of Mayor Dan Plato with a CC license. I believe the current image on his Wikipedia article is not very accurate, since it is so pixelated and outdated.

As I have mentioned prior, I am aware that you occupy a technical, nonpartisan position at the Democratic Alliance. I have also read on your Wikipedia user page that you recuse yourself from the editing of any article in the Category:Democratic Alliance (South Africa).

Can you please help me again? Thanks! Lefcentreright (talk) 17:15, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've asked the marketing department. They're a bit busy right now with the manifesto launch happening this weekend, but I'm sure they'll get back to me next week. - htonl (talk) 19:25, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I appreciate it. Lefcentreright (talk) 15:12, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Establishments in the Cape Colony by millennium

A tag has been placed on Category:Establishments in the Cape Colony by millennium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Photo request

Hello, Htonl. How are you? I have been editing John Steenhuisen's article. Can you maybe supply me with a photo of him? In the current one, located on the article, he looks like he is about to sneeze (most probably did after the picture was taken). As I have mentioned before, I am aware of your nonpartisan job at the DA, but can you maybe find the time to help me out? Have a good evening.
