Hrvatska
No, I did not delete the Croatian Syndication page, but I did tag it for deletion, as it was clearly an attempt to use Wikipedia for something other than what it exists for. Please read about what Wikipedia is not. As for the link to your site on Croatia, to me it appeared to be yet another case of attempting to use Wikipedia as a tool for self-promotion or commercial gain. If you sincerely believe that your site is one of the very best Internet resources for people seeking information about Croatia, then please argue your case on Talk:Croatia. -- Jeronim 20:02, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
Yes..I have
editI have read "what Wikipedia is not" and my link was completely fine. Infact it says that it was allowed.
- I mentioned that page in relation to your Croatian Syndication page. -- Jeronim 19:05, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:KlapaSinj.JPG)
editThanks for uploading Image:KlapaSinj.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nenad Bach, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.nenadbach.com/bio/bio.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 23:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Nenad Bach
editA tag has been placed on Nenad Bach requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Nenad Bach
editI deleted the article as a copyright violation. As stated above, if you own the copyright to the text could you please send an e-mail from an address associated with the original website to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org stating release of the material under the GFDL. After the permission is through, the article will be undeleted. Sorry for this ordeal, but we have to be careful concerning copyright. Garion96 (talk) 16:37, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
