[[Image:Trigodon.jpg]] edit

The image [[Image:Trigodon.jpg]] you posted and are using on the page Trigodon is taken from (http://piclib.nhm.ac.uk/piclib/www/image.php?img=90902&frm=ser&search=similar) It has a water mark from the museum. The image is copyrighted and so can not be used on Wikipedia without permision. The image was deleted per Wikipedia:Copyright problems & Wikipedia:Speedy deletions. I neglected to to post a note on your board here so you didn't know, and it looks like you have replaced the image from the same source. I am going to request another speedy delete of the image. You can review Wikipedia policy on the subject here Wikipedia:Copyrights#Using_copyrighted_work_from_others. I know it can be kind of a bummer to have something like this happen when you are new. Don't let it slow you down from contributing. There is alot to learn on WIkipedia. Have Fun. Jeepday 01:00, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:50px-IT-Army-OF10.GIF edit

Hi, I've nominated Image:50px-IT-Army-OF10.GIF for deletion because it not representing a real rank insignia. The rank of Maresciallo d'Italia was an honorary (not only war time) rank of the Kingdom of Italy, not a rank of the Italian Repubblic. Moreover the insigna is wrong. For more informations see it:Maresciallo d'Italia. --F l a n k e r 11:55, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

PS: here, in the Italian Army home page, there is the real insignia. --F l a n k e r 12:02, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The images in question do not represent any known real Army Rank. The title of “Maresciallo d'Italia” isn’t used anymore and the rank insignia was something completely different from the one you uploaded and are trying to push into the Italian Army Ranks. Please stop, as this is a behaviour which amounts to vandalism (see Wikipedia:Vandalism) --noclador 14:35, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm just curious: why do you persist to add this rank? Have you a special reason? TIA, F l a n k e r 21:57, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • This rank does not exist.
  • The image is pure fiction- general and colonel rank mixed
  • Why do you insist to upload this image? --noclador 17:53, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Italian Army Ranks edit

The rank has been abolished! also THIS http://www.esercito.difesa.it/root/uniformi/gradi_sp_Ugen.asp are the official General ranks in use by the Italian Army- anything else is not valid! so what you try to add is in NO WAY WHATSOEVER real- it is PURE FICTION!!! --noclador 18:11, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

Please be aware of the 3rr rule: Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. If you make more than 3 reverts to the same article, you'll get blocked. Excluded from this rule are reverts made to purge vandalism. As you insist to go on adding your wrong information, you now qualify for 3RR, but I'm not reporting you because it is required to tell you first about the 3rr rule. Read the rule carefully and do not revert that articles again or you'll be blocked. --noclador 19:21, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
