Bette Midler

edit

Hello, I appreciate your edit to the Bette Midler page. I will be reverting the edit however to remove the duplicated discography. The page is long and her complete discography has been moved to a sub page with a link to the main article. There is no need for duplicated material. Now, if you would like to write a small discrip line to include with the link that would be appropriate, but not to place the whole discography back on. Thank you.. Thank you for your contribution to this list, but unfortunately it doesn't conform with the list's source. While your edits may reflect more up-to-date figures, as the article says, "This is the list of the top 100 best-selling music artists in the United States only...based on certifications of albums by the RIAA." To conform to that source ([1]), we can't update the list until new figures are released by the RIAA. When it is, information on all of the artists will be updated simultaneously.

If you want to discuss this or the list, please feel free to leave a note at my talk page or at the article's talk page. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:26, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Lady Gaga discography, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:43, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Marry the Night. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:44, 8 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Party's Over...Thanks for Coming

edit

The article The Party's Over...Thanks for Coming has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NALBUM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
