I noticed your edit summary when you removed some uncited content, so might I make a few suggestions to help you contribute most effectively here.
  • You might like to say a few words on your UserPage about your interests in editing Wikipedia. Obviously your username is a bit of a give-away but, without revealing your identity, you could think about saying at what level, or with what organisation you do your studies. Is it just a hobby for a 16 year old, or are you university based researcher with a PhD in the field - or some point in between?
  • It's fine to remove uncited content, as you did, and I welcome your really helpful edit summary. Should you find much more contentious content, you could think about raising your concerns on the article's talk page first - and then removing it after a week or so. I do that when I think someone else might disagree with the changes I want to make. We work by WP:CONSENSUS here, though if nobody responds after some days, you're allowed to BE BOLD.
  • You can add a {{dubious}} or {{citation needed}} tag if you find content which you think may be correct, but which is not supported by any citation. This is often better than simply removing content. Citations that no longer work, should not be removed (as someone can always check back into the INternet Archive for a functioning page link. You can flag any non-functioning citations as a {{dead link}}.
  • References are easy to add using the 'Cite' button in either of the two editing tools available to you. See WP:REFBEGIN for adding citations using Source Editor.
  • If you need further help or advice, feel free to ask a question on my Talk Page or at the Teahouse. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 19:21, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
