Welcome! edit

Hello, Hollystevenson4, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Sub-Saharan Africa edit

Hello. I've restored Sub-Saharan Africa to its state immediately before what appears to be your complete replacement of it. A replacement of that magnitude, entailing the deletion of large quantities of other editors' sourced content representing over 18 years' collaboration, merits discussion on the article's talk page, Talk:Sub-Saharan Africa, first, and surely isn't explained by the single sentence "Deleted a sentence that was from a deleted article".

I recommend that you copy your version, available here, to a userspace draft and then initiate a discussion on the talk page, indicating what you propose to change or replace and why, pointing to your proposed version at its draft location, soliciting feedback, and waiting to receive some and incorporating it into your planning before proceeding further.

Let me know if you have any questions. You can ask me here, as your talk page is on my watchlist. Largoplazo (talk) 22:04, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
