Hello. I decided to omit some information about the boat's interior when I copy-edited the article you had written — I don't think it's necessary to go into such details with a privately-owned pleasure boat — but re-added the tilting mast as it seems to be quite an uncommon feature. As for the "Ericsson spy boat", the main reason why I removed the name of the Swedish cell phone manufacturer from the article is that I could not find it from any of the references and all information in Wikipedia must be verifiable, especially now that I nominated the article for the "Did you know?" section of the main page. I've had the same problem with a number of articles — even if I've known something to be true, I haven't been able to put the information to the article due to lack of reliable sources. However, I found a blog that made a reference to Ericsson and used it. It may not be considered a "reliable source" by some, but it's not a crucial bit of information, so I guess it's okay.

I don't contribute to the Finnish Wikipedia, so I can't say anything about their tools and templates, but some time ago we wrote a usage guide for the infobox in the English WikiProject Ships. There are other guidelines and instructional pages within the project as well. However, that's only for ships — other WikiProjects probably have their own how-to guides and such, in addition to the large number of general guidelines, manuals of style and other help documents for Wikipedia. Generally, we don't expect that everyone reads them all, so don't worry about making a small faux pas here or there. It's just something you learn over time by following others' example, e.g. by using an existing, good article as a kind of template for a new one. I began creating new pages by copying existing pages and then editing out the extraneous material. If you have any more specific questions about editing, please feel free to contact me.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:43, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

DesignOps moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, DesignOps, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ok thanks, I'll work on the article more! Hki007 (talk) 19:12, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
