Hi there, Hiperterminal, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have taken a special interest in writing about women librarians in both Spanish and English and are aiming for a Ph.D. with an emphasis on the gender gap in Wikipedia. I hope you will find time to add more biographies of women, perhaps inspired by some of the names on our Wikidata redlist of librarians or translating some of your Spanish biographies into English. If you have not already done so, you might find it useful to look through some of our Essays, perhaps starting with Primer for creating women's biographies. Dear Ipigott thanks for your words and encouragement! We are doing our best. By the way, I am so happy that Women in Red has awarded me with a golden star, so pleased about it! ;-) And I wanted to contact you, and WiR, because we are working on a WMF research grant proposal on Wikidata and gender. We would love to have on our team all the communities that work to reduce the gender gap. We already count on WikiDonne, Viquidones, and Wikimujeres so we would love to have Women in Red, of course. And we are trying also Les Sans Pages. Would you like to read the draft of the proposal and decide if you want to be part of it? Rosiestep suggested contacting WiR directly as she is on the Board of Trustees in WMF and cannot provide opinions and even less to participate. Looking forward to knowing your thoughts about it! - I see those on your list are already in English. You need to add more requiring translation from Spanish, Catalan or other languages, for example Consol Pastor Martínez, Dolors Hostalrich Fa and Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez who all have well developed articles in Catalan. If the other members of your group are fluent in English, they would of course be welcome to edit on the English wiki and join Women in Red.
