Napoli, 2011–12 Champions League edit

Napoli indeed is secured of participation in the tournament. The reason for that is the match between Udinese and Lazio next week.

In case of an Lazio win or a tie, the worst case for Napoli would be tie for either third (in case of a Lazio win) or fourth (in case of a draw) with Roma; they would win this on their superior head-to-head record as they have won both their matches against Roma.

If Udinese wins said match, the worst scenario would be a three-way tie for third between Napoli, Roma and Udinese; all three teams have six points each from their head-to-head matches (Napoli beat Roma twice, Roma beat Udinese twice, Udinese beat Napoli twice), but Napoli have the best goal difference among these three (+1, Udinese even, Roma –1).

So, it literally takes a degree in maths to figure that out. Should not be much of a problem for an user named "DerivatoParziale", though.^^ Have a nice day, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 21:47, 2 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

2012 Africa Cup of Nations edit

This is straight from the result section which ha s the crosslink(Lihaas (talk) 21:07, 22 January 2012 (UTC)).Reply

In case you didn't know already, some match reports by CAF do not indicate the accurate time the goals were scored. Take the 6-1 win by Guinea for example. Diallo's first goal came in 14:25, aka 15th minute but CAF lists it as 14th minute. Dipsy's goal came at 22:33, aka 23rd minute but CAF lists it as 22nd minute, Traore's goal came in 48:23 or 45+4, a far cry from CAF's 45+1, Guinea's final scorer was #14, that's Naby Soumah, Ismael Bangura got the assist...... and so on for other goals in this match and even in other matches. But what is the official source, that we take for the data? Hilfemann (talk) 19:01, 1 February 2012 (UTC+1)

The best and as most accurate I would say, which was also suggested by User:Theurgist, is Soccerway.com Banana Fingers (talk) 18:19, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Eintracht Frankfurt II edit

When moving an article to a new name like you did with Eintracht Frankfurt II could you please fix the links in the associated templates too as otherwise somebody else has to do it for you. Thanks, Calistemon (talk) 19:49, 26 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oberliga Westfalen edit

I noticed you keep a larger number of local football tables on your userpage which you regularly update. If I created an 2015–16 Oberliga Westfalen article, similar to 2015–16 Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, would you update the table at regular intervals? Unfortunatly the other leagues you keep there probably fail the notability guide lines. Regards, Calistemon (talk) 09:44, 22 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I designed those football tables as my personal playground, but sure, I would update the Oberliga Westfalen at least once a week. Hilfemann (talk) 09:51, 22 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
No worries, I have created 2015–16 Oberliga Westfalen. Feel free to improve or update. Calistemon (talk) 23:48, 22 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Timestamp edit

Hi.

When you update statistics please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 21:07, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
