License tagging for Image:10east-logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:10east-logo.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

10East Corp.

edit

The deletion was based on their being nothing in the article to indicate that the company is notable per WP:CORP (i.e., subject of independent news coverage, listed on a major stock exchange). Furthermore, you're posting an article about your own company, which always raises the suspicion of an attempt to use Wikipedia for publicity or advertising. If you can assert that the company meets WP:CORP in some way, feel free to add that to the article and repost. Thanks, NawlinWiki 15:52, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have made a number of edits to the SaaS article that seem to violate our NPOV policy. I have changed some of them back. Please edit sparingly to topics in which you have a vested interest.—WAvegetarian(talk) 13:42, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mapnik

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mapnik, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? B. Wolterding (talk) 13:25, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of BlockSMTP

edit

I have nominated BlockSMTP, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BlockSMTP. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
