Hi, I've been inactive the past few days and just got your message. My main issue with your edit was the unsourced assertion that field goals are "often confused" with three point plays due to the American football convention. In my own personal experience, I have not encountered anyone else with this particular confusion . . . and while I'm sure it is a source of confusion for people besides yourself, I think it would be absolutely necessary to supply a source to support the modifier "often". If it is, as you wrote, "often confused", then I would expect that a Google search would yield some usable sources.
