Welcome! edit

Hello, Hhfreund, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place helpme before the question. Again, welcome! • Considering your sandbox, please have a look at WP:CITE on how to do footnotes. Also, if you are thinking of going live, it would be a good idea to re-edit the article for a more neutral tone, and to delete things that on Wikipedia wouldn't be considered notable, proper, or relevant. The award section, for instance: what cannot be verified should probably be cut. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 04:37, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reverted your revision [1] to User:Chzz edit

Hey! Just so you know, messages should go on user talk pages (like User talk:Chzz). Thanks and welcome!  Aaargh  02:36, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hhfreund, this is no problem; I moved your message to my talk page, once I noticed it. However, in future, please do make sure you leave messages on user talk pages (e.g. User talk:Chzz) and not on user page (e.g. User:Chzz). I know it is confusing!

Re. the picture, File:José-Luis Orozco playing guitar by tree.jpg - we received the email, and that has now been securely stored away, and a reference number attached to the file. So the permission is now fine.

Also, as I'm sure you will notice, I have archived the older messages from this page - I hope this will be helpful, to keep things clear. There is a 'list of archives' box at the top of this page, listing the one archive, User talk:Hhfreund/Archive 1 - and I moved the older messages into there. I hope this helps, rather than causing any more confusion; if not, please let me know, and I can just put them back here. Cheers!  Chzz  ►  12:37, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Helped I just saw the message below on the top of the Jose Luis Orozco page and I was wondering what specific things I need to do?

This article may need to be wikified to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. Please help by adding relevant internal links, or by improving the article's layout. (October 2010)

Thanks Hhfreund (talk) 05:59, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

You need to add links to other articles. see here--TalkToMecintelati 06:07, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

On the Jose Luis Orozco page, I want to put an internal link from David Diaz in the Career section, 3rd paragraph from the bottom of this section to the wiki page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_D%C3%ADaz_(illustrator) . How do I do this? When I put the around David Diaz, it just takes you to a page with several David Diazs. I want to make it go the specific page. Thanks

Hhfreund (talk) 06:55, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Put the title of the actual page within double square brackets: David Díaz (illustrator). That will link you directly. If you only want "David Díaz" to show on the screen, put David Díaz, with the actual page address, then a "pipe" (vertical bar) character, then what you want to show. See WP:CHEAT for advice on Wiki markup, and links from that page for more detail. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 08:22, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

help-me I have put several relevant internal links on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9-Luis_Orozco. What else needs to be done to get it Wikified?

Thanks Hhfreund (talk) 20:49, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's fine. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 21:20, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
