Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abdel Wahab Elmessiri

As per the other editor's recommendation, I went ahead and closed this out with a Redirect. Abdel Wahab Elmessiri now redirects to Abdel Wahab El-Messiri, and you should have no further problems. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 14:07, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks man =) --Abderrahman (talk) 14:17, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Neodymium

I understand your concerns, and while in principle they are valid, what you've asked is covered and referenced in the article body. It is relatively easy to provide additional refs for those facts (like China certainly is the leader in Nd production). Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 23:04, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for clarifying that. If you don't feel like the article needs additional citation, then I'll leave alone =] --Abderrahman (talk) 09:06, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:User cc-by-nc-sa

A tag has been placed on Template:User cc-by-nc-sa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an unambiguous misrepresentation of established policy.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Voiding LSD

What of an experience to happen if LSD were never a factor? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.69.58.64 (talk) 22:26, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand the question correctly. What type of experiences; recreational?
Please clarify your question =] --Abderrahman (talk) 23:12, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:9gag favicon.png)

Thanks for uploading File:9gag favicon.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:15, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Call for Wikipedians in Residence in Africa

Hello, I hope you are well and thriving!! WikiAfrica has just put out a call for two Wikipedians in Residence. One in Cape Town at WikiAfrica, at the Africa Centre; and the other for WikiAfrica Cameroon in Douala, at doual’art. If you are interested, please contact either Marilyn [marilyn.doualabell doualart.org] for the WikiAfrica Cameroon call or Isla [islahf africacentre.net] for the WikiAfrica position in Cape Town.

If you are not interested in applying, I would be very grateful if you could spread this call far and wide among your networks to ensure that both projects get excellent candidates. Here is the link for the information page http://www.wikiafrica.net/two-wikipedians-in-residence-for-africa/ user:Islahaddow

October 2013

Hello, I'm Jetstreamer. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Flag carrier, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 21:53, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

I've added a citation. References are essential in Wikipedia, and any other factual work. However, there are many other entries in that same article that don't provide citations regarding ownership, and they're still there untouched (and been there for a long time). Not everything can proven through websites, for example a carrier might be reluctant to mention its true owner for political reasons, and only does so through indirect sentences that hint at that or only an experienced individual in the lingo and legal phrases of that country/region would know.Abderrahman (talk) 22:36, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
References are essential if they back the claims you add. I've reverted the last two edits you made to the article. One of the references you added was to another Wikipedia article. You cannot use one article to support another one, as per WP:CIRCULAR. The other reference you added took me to the airline's frontpage. I don't see any mention to the ownership there. Please be more careful when adding sources. Regarding the other unsourced content in the article, I did not add it. The section is clearly tagged as needing more sources. You're invited to add some if you want. Finally, as per WP:VERIFY, if it cannot be proven, then it shouldn't be here. Thanks.--Jetstreamer Talk 22:49, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
DUDE!! It's not my problem that the website of that company takes you the first time to "Location". Try setting a location and clicking "Remember" then access the URL again, it'll work. It's there, there's just a loop that needs to be hopped. I know one of the references is Wiki article, but the other is solid. STOP REVERTING THE EDITS. I'm well aware of how Wikipedia works, and its guidelines. I'm not trying to vandalize or add false information.
Try accessing the link the way I described, then undo your revert please. Abderrahman (talk) 22:56, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
I never said you were vandalising Wikipedia.--Jetstreamer Talk 23:01, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
