Proposed deletion of Black women creatives edit

The article Black women creatives has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not for advocacy of causes, no matter how worthy. Please see WP:SOAPBOX and WP:ADVOCACY. Wikipedia articles may only report on matters of fact, from a neutral point of view.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Ben Kovitz (talk) 10:23, 1 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Deleting Black women creatives -- let me help you get started on Wikipedia edit

Hey there Herewego72,

I'm an administrator and I'm about to delete an article you created called Black women creatives. I can tell that you are really enthusiastic about making Wikipedia better, and I absolutely want to help you do that. The article, as it stands, doesn't really meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, but if you leave me a note here under this message (or on my talk page, I would be more than happy to help you get started. Wikipedia is quite old nowadays and it has more rules than most people realize, but I promise it's worth taking the time to learn the ropes. Hope to hear from you.
