In regards to your edits on the Islam article...--Somchai Sun (talk) 21:45, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

October 2014 edit

Your recent editing history at Islam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Islam. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  —C.Fred (talk) 22:50, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I added a reliably-sourced fact about family life in Islam [1]. Many people, including me don't condone slavery, but Wikipedia is supposed to offer neutral point of view and facts, not personal preference, systhesis and bias.--Helpwoks (talk) 01:54, 5 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Your block had nothing to do with whether the fact was reliably-sourced or not. It had everything to do with it being a violation of WP:3RR. —C.Fred (talk) 23:13, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for making a note of that. Also I want to mention that my differences with NeilN were sorted out, and he thanked me for this edit. Ask him to verify if you want.--Helpwoks (talk) 23:18, 4 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
You should also note that sites such as "The religion of peace" fail to meet WP:RS. It's nothing more than a right-wing American attack/shock site only pretending to be neutral and nonpartisan. Take a look at the news sites it links to if you don't believe me. Similarly, sites such as WikiIslam also fail to meet the standards for a reliable source, due to it being another user-generated wiki (imho, WikiIslam is a pretty neutral site with a good level of accuracy, but we still can't use it). Also, most of what you are trying to add is already covered in the Criticism of Islam article (and its related pages). Regards, --Somchai Sun (talk) 17:00, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
I now added only what is relevant in the family section with reliable sources.--Helpwoks (talk) 02:22, 7 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Scientific Errors in the Qur'an edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Scientific Errors in the Qur'an requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Scientific_Errors_in_the_Qur'an. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 01:51, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Alright, I got it. I won't ever write POV on Wikipedia. please unblock.

Decline reason:

Given the extent of your problems, which include not adhering to the neutral point of view, and edit warring, although a standard offer approach could be taken in this case, I don't think you can be unblocked at the moment. PhilKnight (talk) 04:48, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
