Hello. I wanted to notify you that I've submitted Jeanette Coron for deletion because I do not feel that available sourcing online is sufficient to establish she meets our notability criteria. This means that editors will review my rationale for deletion, review the article and available sourcing, and then voice an opinion on whether to keep or delete the article. After 7 days an uninvolved administrator will evaluate the consensus of participating editors and, if need be, delete the article. As far as I am aware you are able to participate (though I would advise reading up on how to contribute first).

While I saw you remove the notability maintenance tag and add the 2 sources from the The Globe and Mail, please understand that the reliability of a source - even listed at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources - does not mean that all content from that source is both a) reliable and/or b) able to establish notability. Reliable news organizations will occasionally release material that is not subject to the same editorial standards as material that originates from themselves, such as material written as an opinion by an outside contributor. In this instance, both of the sources you have provided are clearly marked as press releases, which means they are non-independent and so cannot be used to show notability. For a source to demonstrate notability it must be reliable, unaffiliated (or independent) from the subject, and provide more than a trivial mention of the subject at hand. A failure of any three of these criteria disqualifies the source.
