Hmm edit

Please do not create sock puppets to push your POV. You are a blocked sock puppeteer. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:34, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am not, what is this about? Surely an editor cannot be banned for no reason? Please unblock me and do a checkuser or file a report. It is not your right to block me without reason.HellBhoy (talk) 19:44, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Blocked for no apparent reason, without any proper analyizing of the situation from the admin in question, who jumped the gun on an unfounded personal opinion. I haven't done anything wrong, and my good edits were reverted leaving some cases of vandalism across Wikipedia. I wish to be unblocked so that this may be discussed properly, as the editor who blocked me has scuppered off ignoring me and this issue.

Decline reason:

It's clear from your edits that you are not new to Wikipedia. I'm not familiar enough with the relevant articles to identify your previous account name, but if you'd like to let us know what other names you've used before, and why you've chosen to edit under a different name today, it would be helpful. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:19, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have edited with just my ip address, so therefore I do know how Wikipedia works. I setup an account today, the thing that mystefies me is I have done nothing wrong! Just blocked, with the admin giving no explanation or making a report or whatever. Just a blind block so that I suddenly have to explain myself even though I have done nothing wrong and this admin doesn't have to acknowledge the consequences! If I'm unblocked I'm just going to use the editability so that this can be sorted out.

Decline reason:

Barely twenty edits in and you already know how checkuser works. But not enough ... if you read WP:RFCU you'll see in black and white that requests like yours are almost never granted. And whenever that happens, I get ready to toss another one in the laundry basket. — Daniel Case (talk) 02:42, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have left a note on the blocking admin's page asking for clarification. Please stand by. Toddst1 (talk) 20:17, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, but what happens if the admin, continues to ignore it? He/she may have blocked me for whatever personal reason and then turned off their computer for the evening.HellBhoy (talk) 20:42, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please assume good faith on the part of others. If this is a mistake, it will be looked into and you will be unblocked. I can certainly see, however, where TRM came to his conclusions from: several of your edits are indicative of a much higher understanding of Wikipedia than is typical of new users, and your immediate participation in a discussion where another user has been blocked recently is questionable.
