Reinstating removed content
editHello. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edits you made to Carol (film), Brooklyn (film), and Straight Outta Compton (film), did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. The edits in question include addition of routing piracy information. Film screeners are leaked every year, so this information alone is not notable or worthy of inclusion in a film's article. If your edit is reverted, please do not simply reinstate it; discuss on the talk page. Thank you. Lapadite (talk) 10:06, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

editPlease stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Straight Outta Compton. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The source did not say what you claimed it to do. Be more careful in future. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 19:00, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
I would like to apologize for my misconduct, for I wasn't aware that such a page would be depicted. If you search for 'dvd screener leaks 2015' on Google find that the aforementioned page will be depicted. Please forgive me for not checking again. I've just detected the link: http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/24/10663146/hollywood-s-christmas-is-being-ruined-by-unprecedented-leaks. I will be sure to be careful, next time. Regarding how this is defamatory, I was sheerly stating a fact. That does not cause defamation, but rather ust sparks questions. Anyone who will believe that it's an accusation must read it again. - Why are you impersonating me??? Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 08:53, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
No, no, it's just that I didn't know qht code to use in order to respond, so I just used what you typed in. This is my first time on wikipedia and I'm not aware of any tools that I can use to contact another user, as I was trying to voice my apologies.

I would like an administrator to examine my proxy, for I believe that the changes I've recently made to the settings might have corrected the error.

As explained below, we can't do anything about a block on an IP address unless you tell us what IP address it is. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:31, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- This account is not directly blocked, and your request suggests it is the underlying IP that is blocked. We (admins) cannot see that IP, so you will need to give us the full message you get when you try to edit - or if you wish to keep your IP confidential, send it as a request to WP:UTRS. Blocked
editI've only just noticed that you are faking User:Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi's signature as your own, with a link to their talk page and not yours. As a result, I have now blocked this account directly, but I will unblock it after you change your signature and confirm it here. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:20, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Frankly, I don't know how to. This is my first time using Wikipedia, and I didn't know how to respond to a complaint or message; thus, I plied her name to notify her. No impersonation intended. I only wanted to give my apolgies. I realize that I should've asked or checked on Wikipedia's guidelines in order see how I'm supposed to respond I apologize for that. I think the IP Address is 172.20.10.3 or 96.63.99.82.
Decline reason:
Walt, since you have edited articles since making this unblock request, and since you have made no response to the messages below, I assume you no longer need an unblock. I am therefore disabling the unblock request, to prevent a succession of administrators wasting their time coming to deal with it. It is better to remove any unblock request that is no longer needed, rather than leaving it in place. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:14, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

- @Heisenberg The White: Ah, OK, I understand, and I've unblocked the account itself. At the end of a message we're supposed to add our own signature and timestamp, which we can do by adding "~~~~" (which will be automatically substituted by the software). If you want to alert (or "ping") another user, it's best to put something like "{{ping|Heisenberg The White}}" at the start of the message (as I did with this message - you can see how it looks). As for your IP address, that should be shown in the block message when you try to edit - so please tell us the full message you get. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:56, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
- Neither of the two IP addresses you mention is blocked. Somewhere in the message you see when you try to edit, telling you about the block, it will tell you the IP address. Unfortunately, since I am not editing from a blocked IP address I can't see exactly what the message looks like and where the IP address appears in it, but it certainly appears there somewhere, if you are subject to an IP block. Just look for something that looks like an IP address. Most often it's an IP v4 address, which looks like the ones you gave above, but it may be an IP v6 address, which looks like AB01:8772:1234:B21B:32C1:A812:10C4:B21B. However, it is essential to actually check what Wikipedia gives as the IP address, not what your computer thinks its IP address is, as IP addresses are often changed en route by a router or other networking device. - Could you try editing now? I've run a checkuser and your current IP isn't blocked. PhilKnight (talk) 23:42, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
