FYI: very likely block evading IP

Hi Headbomb,

This is just a heads-up that all the recent edits by the IP at Sex differences in psychology (and other similar articles) will very likely be rolled back in their entirety as WP:BLOCKEVASION very soon. I'm just waiting for a result at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SCPSLBFCPCFB before reverting en masse. The editing pattern is clearly that of a specific LTA. I know that you put in a lot of work to vet and standardize sources, as you've begun to do there, and I wouldn't want to see that good effort wasted. Cheers, and thanks for all you do around here, Generalrelative (talk) 01:40, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

Revert away. I cleaned up a bad source, and that took me about 3 seconds to do. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 01:42, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
Word up. Generalrelative (talk) 01:59, 12 November 2022 (UTC)

"Curved line" listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect Curved line and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 November 16#Curved line until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2022-11-28/Tips and tricks

I wasn't quite sure what you meant with one sentence. I currently edited it into "You can also simply take a Wikibreak and not tell anyone. I didn't announce mine, for example, mostly because I realized over time I needed to pull back, rather than actively making an decision to have a break. That's OK too!"

I'm not sure that's your intent, but I'm also not sure what you actually intended, so... If you can look at it, everything else is copyedited. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 8.2% of all FPs. Currently celebrating his 600th FP! 14:31, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

@Adam Cuerden: both ways read fine to me. CE looks fine, I just put etc back in its original form because it's the normal way people encounter this term. Thanks for taking the lead on the CE. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 20:56, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

"(Wiki)break stuff" at The Signpost

I really enjoyed reading this article, and I'm going to guess that it hits home for others, too. Thanks for writing it. Wishing you well with your studies. Rosiestep (talk) 16:18, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

@Rosiestep: my pleasure. Feel free to add that comment to the article's comment section too! Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:59, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

A subpage of yours

Your subpage User:Headbomb/Sandbox/Banner is showing up in Assessment tables in many Wikiprojects. It looks like its purpose is to list things that should and should not be assessed (ironically). Is there a way to "break" it without deleting it outright? Abductive (reasoning) 13:07, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

No idea. Feel free to experiment. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 14:45, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
This is all that was necessary. All Wikiproject banners (there should be no exceptions, and I've never found any) support |category=no - see e.g. Template:WikiProject Australia#General parameters. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:17, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
