2016 Wikimedia Foundation Executive Director Search Community Survey
The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation has appointed a committee to lead the search for the foundation’s next Executive Director. One of our first tasks is to write the job description of the executive director position, and we are asking for input from the Wikimedia community. Removal of cvt
As you seem completely unaware of what has been happening at Template:Convert and Template:Cvt (for years), then some day, please look at these systematic removals of {cvt}, whenever: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7] or even "Corfu" ([8]). -Wikid77 (talk) 06:15, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- As I mentioned before, I don't have a dog in this fight. But all that is irrelevant to the documentation of a template. People are free to choose whichever of convert or cvt they want, and the documentation shouldn't state that one ought to be converted from convert to cvt or vice versa, or that the evil cabal is suppressing the use of cvt etc. If you have a problem with individual editors switching valid cvt uses to convert, raise it with them, not on the documentation page.
