Wikipedia:Bots/Requests_for_approval/Helpful_Pixie_Bot_50

Regarding the asteroid redirects, is your close to be taken that another bot operator (or even scripted client) can carry out the task without a BRFA, or that a new BRFA could be opened on it. It seemed there was consensus for the task. Gigs (talk) 19:17, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for the long delay in reply. It would require another BRFA. The task itself is not contentious, but like with any bot, the bot/operator would need to be vetted before approval. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 21:32, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Gigs (talk) 00:50, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
Who might be the next bot/operator? Any volunteers? Chrisrus (talk) 02:29, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages

Dear Author/Headbomb

My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address edited an article on Oral Candidiasis. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain and if interested, please visit my Talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain (talk) 20:20, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Featured article physics/astronomy split

Hi Headbomb. I see you've discussed this issue before, but I'm bringing it up again. Perhaps you'd like to comment at Wikipedia talk:Featured articles#Physics and astronomy split .28revisited.29. Teply (talk) 07:50, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Volume!

So, what you are saying is that the topic is worthy, right? But the article is in such sad shape. By putting it up for AfD, I was trying to help; your views on this subject, since you speak French (I speak a little) would be helpful.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 23:36, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

I don't see how it's in bad shape. I don't see any immediate problem at first glance. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 23:37, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
I'm starting to think that I AfD-ed too quickly; maybe I had been in a grumpy mood, or maybe it was just that time of the month.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 21:33, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
