Hello, I'm JackintheBox. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Cenk Uygur, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. JACKINTHEBOXTALK 04:59, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to List of people from The Woodlands, Texas, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - please stop adding people who have nothing to do with the city to the list. Onel5969 TT me 01:10, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please explain your contributions using a descriptive edit summary. Changing information on Wikipedia (such as numbers and dates) without explanation, as you did at List of people from The Woodlands, Texas, may be confused with vandalism. Thank you. - until there are references from valid sources, and are included on their WP pages, please refrain. You could end up getting blocked. Onel5969 TT me 01:22, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of people from The Woodlands, Texas, you may be blocked from editing. - and I'm going to say it again, there is nothing on their WP pages to link them to Woodlands. Twitter, FB, Instagram, are all non-reliable sources. Your disruptive editing will get you blocked. Onel5969 TT me 01:33, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of people from The Woodlands, Texas. - despite your socking yourself, still reflects on you. Onel5969 TT me 02:13, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at List of people from The Woodlands, Texas, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Onel5969 TT me 02:25, 19 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at List of people from The Woodlands, Texas, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - socking also isn't good. Onel5969 TT me 01:27, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Can Someone Block Onel5969?

Request reason:

I was simply trying to add missing information to an article when another user, who has a long history of abusing his power, [1] continuously reverted my edits with little to no reasoning to back up his claims. This is not the first time for him, as an entire article has been written on him for the same exact reason (cited above). Is there anything you can do to block this individual from being able to edit? People like him are why Wikipedia is struggling to stay afloat, as he refuses to let newcomers correct an article he gate keeps. Thanks. -27 December, 2020 Haydoggy (talk) 06:01, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:59, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Woodlands High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Meters (talk) 22:14, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

The new swimming title is not in the citef source. It is up to you to provide a reliable source. Meters (talk) 22:17, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Woodlands High School. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop restoring those lower level finishes. We only list top level finishes. And switching to a named account from an IP is not going to help. Take it to the talk page or leave it alone. Meters (talk) 22:16, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 01:48, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • You know what, never mind. Meters, turns out they're operating another account as well, besides the logged-out editing: User:Hayden 4747. Drmies (talk) 01:50, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I forgot the password. There is a reason I haven't used that account in months. As for the low level finish part, that's just simply not true at all. Numerous other schools of similar status have runner up finishes listed on their page. Southlake Carroll is one example of this. As for the Lone Star Cup, that is definitely a major award as it is operated by UIL. Southlake Carroll also has this listed on its page. As for editing while logged out? Is this a joke? Do you accuse everybody of sock puppeting when you fear your argument is at stake? This is low, even for you Meters. Haydoggy (talk) 01:58, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

Your reason here Haydoggy (talk) 02:17, 23 February 2023 (UTC) I've lost the password for my previous account and am unable to access it. I was falsely accused of "disruptive editing" when the editing was properly sourced. Got into an argument with an individual who is gatekeeping a page, which resulted in him erroneously accusing me of using my IP address as a sock puppet account. Please reconsider. Thank you. ~HaydoggyReply

Decline reason:

A review of your edit history find you showing a BATTLEGROUND mentality, with language like "I think it's safe to say that you know nothing about it. Do not revert again" in edit summaries over two years ago. You may have been right, but you weren't right the right way. Since these unblock requests show that this has just deepened to the point that in this one you are no longer assuming good faith, I don't think right now is a good time to unblock. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:53, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
