Your article edit

Your article, Women and violence in video games, is interesting, but it might not fit into Wikipedia. Because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it depends on published research from secondary sources. This means that research performed by the author, what Wikipedia calls original research, is not allowed. Your article has been nominated for deletion, partially because it seems like an essay that recounts your personal ideas and analysis on the topic. If you could rewrite the article to strip out these essay-like elements, and you include inline citations to the published research you referenced in the article, there's a fair chance that the article could be kept. Normally, I'd make an effort at doing this myself, but I can't really tell with certainty which parts are your own personal analysis. The deletion discussion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Women and violence in video games and will go for about a week, though it can be extended.
