Unsourced material on living people
editHi, welcome to Wikipedia. I regret that I have felt it necessary to undo four of your recent edits, all for the same reason. You added Category:Welsh-speaking people to Jamie Jones (DJ), Geraint Talfan Davies, Rhodri Jones and Owain Jones (footballer). All these men are living, so we must adhere to Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. None of the articles for these men state that they are Welsh-speaking, and no source is cited that indicates that they are. Please try to find a citable source that shows that they are Welsh speaking, such as a newspaper profile. It might be sufficient to rely on a radio or TV interview in Welsh, but these are more awkward to cite. Verbcatcher (talk) 22:46, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
- I see you have restored the category for Rhodri Jones, this time with a mention in the article with a cited source. Unfortunately, your source is an Internet forum, and these are not acceptable sources for living people, see WP:SELFPUBLISH. You also added Aberystwyth as Jones' birthplace, but I can't find this in your source. However, I have just found a good source that confirms both issues. I have replaced your cited source with this. Your recent edits
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:27, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for September 20
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dylan (name), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Welsh. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stormzy
editPlease stop adding this rubbish about Stormzy writing one word in Welsh on Twitter once. The source says nothing about him supporting any minority culture, never mind the Welsh. It says it was cryptic and probably about a show in Cardiff - not every musician who finished a show by saying "danke Berlin" is an activist for German culture and language. You are misrepresenting the source, and the person. Stormzy is known for his support of Labour, black opportunity and Grenfell justice, not for supporting the Welsh, which the source doesn't even say he does.
You are doing a slow-burning edit war and I will report you next time. Diolch yn fawr Wallachia Wallonia (talk) 19:32, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
