Hi there Hattanguy. Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you made an edit to an article, thats great! Thanks for the contribution to wikipedia.

You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp.. Signing your name is important on all talk pages because it helps people get in touch with you.

Also remember to indent your comments using : so that other users can follow the flow of discussions

You might like to put a short introduction on your user page so that other wikipedians can get to know you.

As well as editing wikipedia you could also think about taking part in many other essential activities that make wikipedia a friendly place. For example you could welcome new users to wikipedia (for this you are welcome to use my welcome template here) or you could try mediating discussions. Plus there are loads of other options at the Wikipedia:Community Portal.

You should also feel free to drop me a question on my talk page. I'll answer as soon as possible

Johnstown

edit

Thank you for leaveing me a comment, next time please sign your comment with four ~'s and leave the comment at the end of my other comments ^_^. The Johnstown article is about Johnstown the city, not it's individual suburbs or townships as Windber, a township is. I believe that Windber even has a different area code. But I would like to see these sources you are using as a native of the Johnstown area. Darthgriz98 20:23, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've looked at some of your edits on the Johnstown article and I don't understand why you have removed some things. Could you please explain in more detail? Also even though things didn't happen in the city if they affected the city they are worth a mention. Happy Editing! Jedi6-(need help?) 20:01, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
