Welcome to Wikipedia! edit

Hello, Hassanjustice, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for experimenting with our encyclopedia. The test edit you made worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:41, 22 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Talk page edit

Please ensure you use the article talk page to discuss major changes you would like to make to articles. The majority of the changes you have made have had to be reverted as they introduced copyright violations, blanked sourced content and removed applicable categories. I suggest you read through the links in the welcome message above prior to editing further. If you have any questions you can ask at the help desk or the Teahouse. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:41, 22 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • And again, you continue to blank content, strip sources, and remove persondata from the Tim Westwook article. You cannot continue to edit in this fashion. If you have ideas to improve an article, please use the article talk page to discuss them. It's fine to be Bold to make changes, however if the changes are reverted you need to discuss the proposed changes with concerned editors - this is part of Wikipedia's process to gain consensus. This is a collaborative project with many guidelines and policies that may not be apparent to new users. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you are actually trying to improve the article, but your edits are disruptive. Please go to the talk page to discuss your proposed changes as opposed to blanking content and uploading images with uncertain copyright status. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 16:52, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 16:54, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • I have started a section on the talk page where you can explain your concerns on a point by point basis. Don not continue to blank the content without engaging in discussion or I will request that this account be blocked for disruptive editing. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:25, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Westwood album.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Westwood album.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 16:43, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

November 2012 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
