Addition to Acacia edit

I reverted your edit to Acacia because a listing of species in Iran does not belong in the Taxonomy section. No other country has a listing of Acacia species in the article. I strongly advise you, if you want to add that material to the article, to first seek a consensus on Talk:Acacia that such addition would be appropriate. - Donald Albury 22:27, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Every new initiative starts from one place and by one person.

What do you think is wrong with each country adding a list of its species under the genus?

Doesn't this add to the richness of the article?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Hassan.zali (talkcontribs)

If you think that an article would benefit from new material or a new format, you may boldly edit the article to do so. But, if your edit is reverted or challenged, then you must seek a consensus of other editors to keep the changes you are proposing. Please read the explanation of the process at Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. I will make my argument against your proposal on Talk:Acacia. Please join the discussion there. - Donald Albury 11:10, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Additions to Abutilon edit

I've removed your additions to this article as they appear to use your own website as references. Wikipedia requires that content be referenced by reliable, independent sources; see WP:RS and in particular the section at WP:RSSELF. Thanks, Declangi (talk) 23:27, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

April 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Acacia, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Ruscus hyrcanus moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Ruscus hyrcanus, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
