WP:TPG Talk pages are a record of the development of the article. As such, comments which have had time to be replied to should not be deleted. It makes the context of the reply meaningless. As such, I restored your initial question and moved your comment to the end based on the principles in policies about refactoring other people's comments. While you have the right to redact or amend your own comments you may by striking through. For example, "<s>this</s>" will produce "this". There is no need for such on a resolved question. On the other hand, if you wanted to amend the comment I moved to the end because you would have phrased it differently, not markings are needed it is prompt and not reply has occurred.
