Welcome! edit

Hello, Hannahmaxtra, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Applications of artificial intelligence, seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. December 2017 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Salesforce.com. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Stesmo (talk) 08:25, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your username edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Salesforce.com, and I noticed that your username, "Hannahmaxtra", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Stesmo (talk) 08:25, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

March 2018 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Mz7 (talk) 09:42, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Ok ok I'm sorry. But I didn't make any spammy links in Wikipedia. The pages that I linked were related topics to that specific Wikipedia page. But if you still think that this is all the spam links, then, from now on I will not link such pages to Wikipedia. So I'm requesting you to unblock me and not to blacklist my websites from Wikipedia and not want to penalized by search engines. Hannahmaxtra (talk) 10:54, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

If you had done anything at all besides adding spam links to your employer's website, I might have been inclined to unblock. As it is, no. You don't seem to be here to contribute, you seem to be here to drive traffic to your own site, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Yunshui  11:28, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm new to the Wikipedia and takes me some time to fully understand all guidelines of Wikipedia. So, please tell me what to do because I don't want my websites to be blacklisted from Wikipedia and also not want to penalized by search engines. Please Help!

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:48, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Don't add links to your company's websites. Only add external links to WP:reliable sources independent of the subject with a reputation for fact checking that are being cited for content. Do not add any content about your company, especially if it describes how great the company is or reads like a mission/values/vision statement. Generally, any content found on a company website is too promotional. --Dlohcierekim (talk) 12:05, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Please give an indication of what editing you think you may do if you are unblocked. At present, any administrator who reviews your unblock request has no indication whatever of what editing you may do other than your past editing history, which shows you doing literally nothing other than posting links designed to attract readers to your web site. The trouble with unblock requests that just say "I won't do that again" but don't say what the editor will do is that experience over the years shows that very often in such cases the editor simply does things which are not exactly the same but are no better, so you need to show that you are not likely to do that.
