Yes sounds great! Rachel L. Westphal (talk) 12:04, 16 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

So for our two options, lets do geriatric psychiatry & barbel?! Daniellefreitag (talk) 17:01, 16 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

The only issue with doing a person involved in geriatrics is a lot of them are still living and I don't think we're suppose to be doing someone living. Daniellefreitag (talk) 03:30, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • It's perfectly fine to write about someone who's still alive. J.R. Council (talk) 02:22, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think Geriatric Psychiatry would be the best page for us. We have a true interest in the content and if there is little information given then its a great opportunity to expand and add our facts. The other option would maybe do a Geriatric Psychiatrist who has done a huge contribution. Preferably a female because there are less females on wikipedia than males. Rachel L. Westphal (talk) 12:06, 14 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

That's what I'm worried about since gerontology is a fairly newly recognized field. I can look and see if there are reliable sources online too before we decide. Daniellefreitag (talk) 17:08, 14 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a page for geriatric psychiatry already, but there's not a ton of information. Would we be able to find more information to give a wide array of information?Hannah M. Ganskop (talk) 14:58, 13 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I don't know if I'm doing this right. I kind of just wanted check and see! Did you guys have any ideas for topics? I'd totally be cool with doing geriatric psychiatry, but we can also do something closer related to class. Daniellefreitag (talk) 02:07, 13 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Group 1: Please click on the new section tab to set off your discussion of topics. It will be a lot easier to follow that way. J.R. Council (talk) 17:28, 15 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your topic: Geriatric Psychology

edit

Hello Group 1: There is an existing article on geriatric psychiatry, and you're right, there is not much there and it definitely has potential for development. However, there is no page at all for geriatric psychology, and I think that field is distinct from geriatric psychiatry. My recommendation is to start off by determining whether there is enough difference to warrant a new article on geriatric psychology. If not, then go with geriatric psychiatry. J.R.
