Multiple accounts edit

Hi Hamza3110022, are you the same person who used the account Hamza31100? If so, is there a reason you are using a different account? R Prazeres (talk) 17:59, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok, you've answered my question here to say that you forgot your password. However, you should be able to click "Forgot your password?" on the login page in order to recover your old password, depending on the situation (see Help:Reset password for more details). I recommend you do this and, if successful, return to using your old account. Using multiple accounts is usually not permitted; the relevant guidelines are here: Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry#Legitimate_uses (see also this).
Either way, now that you have created an alternative account, please indicate on both user pages that these are multiple accounts for the same user. To help you, I've added a notice on your old account (Hamza31100) user page here. You can use this template on your user page for this account (Hamza3110022) to indicate the same thing. (Basically, just copy " {{User alternative account|Hamza31100}} " on your user page here and publish it.) I strongly recommend doing this, because otherwise you risk being accused of sockpuppetry if you get involved in an editing dispute. R Prazeres (talk) 18:27, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Kingdom of Algiers edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Kingdom of Algiers. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Ottoman Algeria. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Ottoman Algeria. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Mccapra (talk) 22:50, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Kingdom of Algiers, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:55, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Kingdom of Algiers. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. As it turns out, we already have a draft about this topic at Draft:Kingdom of Algiers. If you wish, you can improve that draft and, when you are done, it can be moved to article space Salvio 23:13, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Hamza3110022, I would like to remind you, because this last notice above might be confusing after the one before that, that you should discuss any potential split of Ottoman Algeria topic at Talk:Ottoman Algeria. If an article already exists on a topic, you cannot just create another article about it on your own. I have already started a section there explaining how this proposed article is a problem and why many improvements are needed at the existing article first. Either way, do not attempt to create a new article about this without getting consensus on that talk page first; see Wikipedia:Splitting for the guidelines on proposing a split, if you still wish to do so. Speedy deletion nomination of Kingdom of Algiers (redirect) edit

Hello Hamza3110022,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kingdom of Algiers (redirect) for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want Kingdom of Algiers (redirect) to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Invitation edit

Hello Hamza, As we have both contributed to the article on the Kingdom of Algiers, I wanted to extend an invitation to you for further development of the article. To facilitate this, I have created a Discord group where we can discuss and collaborate on what additions we should make to the article. Please find the link to the Discord group below. I look forward to working with you on this project. https://discord.gg/mXAg3RAD Tayeb188 (talk) 11:22, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

May 2023 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on History of Algeria. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. R Prazeres (talk) 16:28, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
