Hi Hamilton677! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Maynard Dixon that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. – S.   Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Maynard Dixon does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! – S.   Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Drastic Fantastic, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please review MOS:OL, you are overlinking countries etc. Muhandes (talk) 11:32, 24 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Ferguson Jenkins ‎. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. This is the second time I am writing about MOS:OL. Please stop. Also note MOS:DL. Hi. I've been following Surrey since way back before Chris Aworth played for them, but I can't recall his ever coaching them - though my memory is rubbish these days! Can you provide a source for that? JH (talk page) 15:59, 16 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Christopher Aworth Let me find it again and get back to you Hamilton677 (talk)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Eumeralla Wars
added a link pointing to Victoria
Hungarian Revolution of 1848

Just wondering if your addition of "musician" to the intro here is tautological. Are there any composers and musicologists who are not also musicians? Jim Bruce (talk) 09:29, 18 June 2021 (UTC) talk Yes you're probably correct. A bit of overkill on my part Hamilton677 (talk)Reply

And maybe I'm being a bit pedantic. Anyway I've reverted your edit if that's OK. Thanks. Jim Bruce (talk) 10:07, 19 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Serviceplan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page German.
