editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Seabury School has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2318247853&ref=ts (matching the regex rule \bfacebook\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Orphaned non-free media (File:Tacoma General Hospital logo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Tacoma General Hospital logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:23, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
This image you uploaded is in trouble for two reasons. It has not yet been tagged for deletion, but it is likely to be.
- The image must be low resolution to be used under fair use. I reduced it. However:
- The building is still standing, so the image can be replaced with a free image by someone with a camera. So it's not a good candidate for fair use.
There is still a good opportunity to keep the image:
- You state that MultiCare Health System has given its permission to use the image. If that is really true, and you can convince them, or the photographer, or both to grant permission to use the image as free content, that is under a free license such as Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 3.0, then the image can be stored in full resolution on Commons.
If you are interested, (and I don't think you are, since you didn't answer the notice above), there are steps you can take to remedy the situation:
- Copy and fill out the form from Commons:OTRS#Licensing_images:_when_do_I_contact_OTRS.3F (scroll down) with the CC-BY-SA license 3.0 indicated.
- Send the form and image to the photographer and/or the copyright holder.
- Get them to fill out the rest of the form, and indicate you need documented permission to use the image as free content. Have them reply, with the attachments intact to you, that way you can doublecheck their work.
- While you're waiting, on the image Description page, indicate that OTRS ticket is pending by adding the template {{OTRS pending}} in the Permission area. No kidding around, get the permission.
- After the photographer/copyright holder sends back the filled-out form+image to you, forward it, attachments intact, to permissions-commons(at)wikimedia.org
- (if the image has been deleted in the meantime, upload it to Commons, with the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license, and "OTRS pending")
- After OTRS responds by email, they, or you, will add the OTRS ticket # to the image in the correct place.

Hi - I am a representative of the organization that owns the image. Can I fill out the license form myself? --halleyrebecca
- Thanks for responding. You'll need to get the copyright holder (the firm, or the photographer, or both) to complete the form (or two forms) granting permission to post the image on Wikipedia, and licensing the image freely, under Creative Commons With Attribution Share-alike 3.0 (CC-BY-SA 3.0), or GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) or similar. This releases the image to the Commons forever, to be shared by anyone, with attribution to the original author(s) required. This may require you to interface briefly with the company's legal department, and the photographer, whoever holds/maintains the copyright for the image.
- I personally think it's a good image, worth the effort to get released/licensed CC. If you can't, that's ok, we'll use a free (probably street-level) photo.
- If you plan to pursue getting it licensed, please add the {{OTRS pending}} template in the description field. OK? --Lexein (talk) 08:13, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:MultiCare Health System 2010 arial view main campus.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:MultiCare Health System 2010 arial view main campus.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:27, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
