Fort Campbell, KY, children's theatre

edit

I see you have made a number of contributions to this article, some of which were quite substantial, but all of which you have marked as minor. They're not. Minor edits are things like one-letter spelling corrections. John of Cromer in Philippines (talk) mytime= Fri 10:03, wikitime= 02:04, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Johnmperry -- I hope this is posted in the right place! Thank you for the editorial guidance on my children's theatre article. I think I always say what has been done (edit, add ref, etc.,), but did not realize this was not considered a "minor" change. Consider my wrist slapped! Thanks, and please let me improve the thing -- my heart is in the right place! Hairhorse (talk) 06:27, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

"...Hi, Johnmperry -- I hope this is posted in the right place! ..." Well at least you reached my talk page! But you should click on 'new section' so your comment gets added to the bottom, rather than at the top! Never mind. Important thing is to learn from mistakes, which I continue to do (I hope) John of Cromer in Philippines (talk) mytime= Fri 18:04, wikitime= 10:04, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

... and if you click on minor edit next to the check-box, it explains what a minor edit is (and isn't) John of Cromer in Philippines (talk) mytime= Fri 18:07, wikitime= 10:07, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Billy St. John

edit

Hello Hairhorse,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Billy St. John for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,

Barney the barney barney (talk) 18:01, 4 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
I can't remember what the content of the article was, but if you want to write a draft do it in your sandbox at user:Hairhorse/Sandbox and copy or move it when you're ready. Remember WP:NAUTHOR and WP:BLP. Barney the barney barney (talk) 11:35, 9 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please note that if a category that you add to a page is a redlink when you save it, then that means the category does not exist. If it does not exist, then the page is still not categorized.

You must either find and use a category that actually exists, or leave the uncategorized tag on the article until someone else finds and adds a category that actually exists; you may not continually readd a category that does not exist, and you may not snark on other editors for correctly adding maintenance tags. Proposed deletion of Fort Campbell, KY, children's theatre

edit

The article Fort Campbell, KY, children's theatre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable. Barney the barney barney (talk) 11:50, 9 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Barney the barney barney (talk) 11:52, 9 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

You need to add further sourcing that demonstrates its notability. While I'm sure it's an honourable organisation and great fun for the kids, local junior amateur dramatics probably aren't important enough for Wikipedia. Barney the barney barney (talk) 22:48, 9 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
