Request reason:

This is a joke. Why are you treating me as the villain when the case was opened against Kishfan and his disruptive editing? I reverted it so the article can be kept the way it was originally and the user mentioned can discuss potential changes on the talk page. Why are you threatening me with a block for nothing? I am just following rules here. I dont even have a hand in this article for your kind information. How am I making disruptive edits? HFM Expert (talk) 13:51, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This unblock request does not address the reasons for your block, which is that you were engaging in edit warring to remove content and sourcing. "I reverted it so the article can be kept the way it was originally" is not a valid justification for anything. Opening a case against another user does not mean you are immune from sanctions; see WP:BOOMERANG. And you haven't been threatened with a block; you've actually been blocked. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I was actually writing that reply to the message when he told me to revert my edits during when Black Kite immediately delivered the block. Hence, he didnt even give me a chance to explain my actions. I didnt even decline his request, in fact I was quite happy to revert my reversions if I had broken any rules but he didnt even let me respond. My aim on Wikpedia is to defend against vandalism at any cost, and I just had the best interest of the article in my mind. Keeping it preserved in it's original state. I was quite happy to revert my reversions if they violated any rules. After being on Wikipedia for a year now, I have learned to follow all the rules. This administrator in my view definitely misused his power, as he didnt follow the standard protocol during the edit warring case itself. And regarding content disputes well I didnt even remove any content, the article history proves otherwise. It was the IP address accounts and Kishfan altering the content. Kishfan was having an edit war with those IP address accounts and in the process he had broken the three revert rule which is the reason for me filing the edit warring case itself. I am not the right person to block here, I have no role in the alteration of the article. HFM Expert (talk) 19:40, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your request still primarily deals with the behavior of others and not your own. See WP:NOTTHEM. I also can see that- for whatever reason- you were removing content. Being correct (if you were, which I am not saying) is not a defense to edit warring. Until you take ownership of the reasons you were blocked, you won't be unblocked. As such, I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 20:08, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I apologise I was filing another unblock request. HFM Expert (talk) 19:59, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi, 331dot, I do take ownership of my actions and wholeheartedly admit that I made mistake with handling this case according to WP:BOOMERANG. After making over 200 edits on Wikipedia and fighting against vandals I did not handle this case correctly, I admit. I should not have engaged in reverting the edits myself, I had definitely made a mistake there and I take full responsibility for my actions. But, I still dont feel that I am the right person to block in regards to the article, I request another chance to clear my name. HFM Expert (talk) 20:14, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
You are free to make another unblock request, which another administrator will review, however if that request is found to be unsatisfactory it will be declined as well. 331dot (talk) 20:19, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Please advise me of what should I say differently in the other request? I just want another chance to clear my name, and I have learnt from my mistakes over my time on Wikipedia. This was also a learning experience, I will come back stronger after this. HFM Expert (talk) 20:22, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Just a few questions. You were blocked for edit warring. Can you describe for us in your own words what that is and why it is unconstructive? What are the alternatives? How will you utilize them? What is WP:BRD? How is it germane? What is WP:DR? How is it germane? Cheers, & happy editing.--Dlohcierekim (talk) 22:04, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I reverted the edits two times, so I didnt violate the WP:3RR. Edit warring is two or more editors continually reverting their respective edits back and forth. A user that adds content and refuses to follow the WP:BRD rule then this often provokes an edit war. HFM Expert (talk) 22:25, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Do you understand that while 3RR is a bright line, one can still be determined to be edit warring without 3 reverts if the admin feels continued disruption is likely? 331dot (talk) 23:19, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
No I wasnt aware of that, but now I am. I always thought that the 3RR constitutes edit warring and it is only after 3RR is violated then a case can be opened. In regards to disruption, I guess the admin knows best. HFM Expert (talk) 23:22, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
331dot as you instructed me, I have already long taken ownership of my actions. Why is it taking so long to unblock me when I have delivered on all the promises and conditions you set? HFM Expert (talk) 00:18, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I will leave this for an heretofore uninvolved administrator to review. 331dot (talk) 00:22, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I am very disappointed at the professionalism of the Wikipedian community and how biased it has become. I do not plan to edit anymore (at least for 6 months) because of the aggressive behaviour shown by many of the admins not only aimed at me but many other users standing up against vandalism. If this is indication of what the administrative community has become then it is no longer the Wikipedia I know and dedicate my time for. HFM Expert (talk) 00:46, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry you feel that way. However, your prior unblock requests must remain until your block is over. If necessary, I will remove talk page access for the duration of the block. 331dot (talk) 07:43, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
