Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Oromo language may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Abdirahman bin Isma'il al-Jabarti

You've made a mistake on his page.

Your edit:

Abdirahman is believed to have descended from Aqeel ibn Abi Talib, a member of the Banu Hashim and the uncle of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

My edit:

Abdirahman is believed to have descended from Aqeel ibn Abi Talib, a member of the Banu Hashim and the cousin of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Aqeel ibn(son of) Abi Talib is not the uncle of Muhammad because his farther is the uncle of Muhammad, making him actually the cousin of Muhammad. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crackabox (talkcontribs) 19:51, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi Gyrofrog - I just wanted to thank you for your work on the Patronymic naming thing. I was afraid my hatnote template would have been deleted by now but you are making it less likely to be deleted just by your actions of using it some more. Feel free to delete this note - I don't know how to send messages any other way (e.g. emails?). --Gr5555 (talk) 16:57, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:IrishEmbassyWashingtonDC.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:IrishEmbassyWashingtonDC.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Quemalam Woyane Tigray

I have seen that you tried accusing me of bias towards the government of Ethiopia. However, you KNOW that they are absolute criminals with hands soaked in blood. They must be tried and serve international criminal court sentences for their horrifying crimes against Ethiopia and its people. They are nothing but killers out to destroy the country. Meles will get no respect from me as he has done nothing but destroy innocent lives and the nation of Ethiopia his entire life. If you don't like what I have to say, then fuck off. I am a proud Ethiopian and I have no problem with practicing the freedom of speech in my country, the United States. You are just mad you can't send me to kaliti for this. Go die a lonely death like your banda grandparents you hunk of garbage.

Polite reply

Please consider whether the template that you just placed on my talk page is taking the tone you intend, I think that what you intended to say was that the site I had linked to had a bad reputation for copyright infringement and that I could avoid it next time by .... etc etc. The template you used gave me the impression that this is the second time you had caught me using dozens of sock accounts to push links to illegal sites. The latter is not the case and I do think you should reconsider whether this template will get you the cooperation we want. At this point you would find it very bad practice if I threatened you with a block in big bold betters. Obviously I'm not going to do that, but that's what you did to me. Am I misunderstanding? Thanks for your polite reply. Well I think Twinkle/wiki/us/you? has it wrong. It is your signature below those words and you are threatening to block me. I'm sure that's not what you meant..... but you did. Obviously and IMO the template needs some adjustment. If you threaten to block for innocent mistakes then we will undermine cooperation which is what keeps the wiki running. I have also highlighted the phrase above "gave me the impression". I note that it was my impression and not your words that introduced the idea of sock accounts. I think this "first offence" policy of threatening to remove somebody from the community for one mistake is poor policy. You can decide what you want to do about it, because its your signature at the bottom although I cannot believe that they are your choice of words. (but you are not, I'm pleased to say, a robot). All the best Victuallers (talk) 16:24, 12 November 2015 (UTC) (p.s. I still don't really understand what the template was saying and after reading it I don't care what it wants me to do. "Startling" does not get my cooperation)

Fort Worth Flatiron Building Nov 18, 2015

Hi!

I got your message regarding "conflict of interest", but the current info ont he building is incorrect. The building is currently occupied by the owner's practice (neurosurgical), and a lawyer.

There are no plans for a cafe or luxury condos/apartments.

I can remove the links to the actual parties that occupy the building?

William
