Deleting Talk page

edit

User:Gxojo, I noticed you deleted the contents of your user Talk page. This is usually frowned upon, since other users can't see issues that other users had with you. It also makes it impossible to continue discussions that may have started on your Talk page. If your Talk page is getting too long and you want to clean it up, a better option is to put the contents in an archive (like I've done on my Talk page. Peace. :-) Frecklefoot | Talk 19:34, Feb 10, 2005 (UTC)

well, i don't like to store old stuff. --Gxojo 15:24, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Article Up for Speedy deletion

edit

A tag has been placed on Tom Hanks (scientist), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

non-notable, too short for an article

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hornetman16 (talk) 22:06, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
