The Cheddar Incident edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cheddar, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If your addition is true (which I doubt) it should be at Cheddar cheeseRod talk 18:21, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am not doubting the existence of Sir Bartholemew Charles Chedrick, although your rerefence did not show it. It would be good to create an article about him & show the notability there. It should be on Cheddar cheese which says "Cheddar cheese has been made since at least 1170. A pipe roll of King Henry II from that year records the purchase of 10,420 lb at a farthing per pound (£3 per tonne)." Therefore your claim about invention in 1875 lacks credibility.— Rod talk 18:36, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hmm i guess. . . . .

Enter Pashawari edit

A page you created, Enter pashawari, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a band or other musical group, but (even if they make nice currys) it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for musical groups in particular. It is lucky that I as an administrator have chosen to ignore this , because being Enter Pashawari's number one swedish fan I find in an honour to be able so see them on Wikipedia. Long Live Ganesh!!!

Proposed deletion of File:Beach Profiling.jpg edit

The file File:Beach Profiling.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned file with no obvious value in transferring to Commons

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
